SYNOPSIS
Madam Secretary stars Tèa Leoni as Elizabeth McCord, the shrewd, determined, newly appointed Secretary of State who drives international diplomacy, battles office politics and circumvents protocol as she negotiates global and domestic issues, both at the White House and at home. A college professor and a brilliant former CIA analyst who left for ethical reasons, Elizabeth returns to public life at the request of the President following the suspicious death of her predecessor. The President values her apolitical leanings, her deep knowledge of the Middle East, her flair for languages and her ability to not just think outside the box, but to not even acknowledge there is a box. McCord's team includes her Chief of Staff Nadine Tolliver, speechwriter Matt Mahoney, press coordinator Daisy Grant and her charming assistant Blake Moran. When McCord debates third world problems, finesses foreign dignitaries at work and does battle with the President's combative Chief of Staff Russell Jackson, it's just a warm-up for when she goes home to her supportive husband, Henry, and their two bright children, where "politics" and "compromise" take on new meaning.

She's funny and engaging. I love Madam Secretary.
I think she is one of the most under-rated actors out there. She is natural, easy-going, dramatic, comedic...everything you could want in an actor. And she seems like an amazing, down-to-earth human, as well. I first saw her like 25-ish years ago on Fox's "Flying Blind." She was amazing and engaging in that and I have enjoyed her work ever since. Thank you for posting this video!

Love Téa Leoni's Madam Secretary. One of my favourite part of the show is the conversations between her and Mr.McCord at the end of the day. It's so relaxing.
I watched the entire first season in 4 days and I fell in love with her character. Now, watching this interview I just fell in love with her! OMG she's hilarious!
I just finished watching Spanglish for the first time. She was so convincingly insane I needed to see her act normal for a minute. Amazing actress. Thanks for your amazing work.

She’s such a great interview, it’s hard to believe how much she hates doing them.
Only 165 likes ?... wauw. I rediscovered the show here with reruns of S1 and i'm totally in love with Tea (and the series). This interview shows some really nice touches of her, the fun and humor, the way she rattle's on and her so lovely mimic with her beautiful face.
I am with the Federal Government and the show portraits the office dynamics very well. It's like watching my day at the office in many ways. Always loved Téa and so happy to see her huge come back! She's gorgeous!

She is the most angelic looking human being I've ever seen
This was great, I just finished Madam Secretary on Netflix a few days ago and have been looking up any Tea Leoni interviews here on KZread ever since, and this was a really great one, she is so naturally funny, but also intelligent, and REAL! And I just loved all of the show, I love her character and all the others too, even some of the somewhat baddies in the show, just because the acting was good. And I am mad at myself that it took me until it was off the tv to watch it, even though it's been on Netflix for awhile, and I have loved Tea Leoni since The Naked Truth, I just thought it would be like most of these political shows, with people stabbing each other in the back, I thought it would be like House Of Cards or something like it, which I haven't seen but I know has a lot of backstabbing in it, I also thought they would do the whole thing of people having affairs as well, but it's none of that! It's actually now one of my favorite shows ever, even though most of my favorite shows are scifi or crime thrillers types, not as much soap opera like, but the actors and characters made me enjoy it, and it does have a lot of nail biting moments too, and sometimes I do like shows where at least most of the people aren't going to get killed at some point, like what you at least start out thinking is the main cast. You know, like most dramatic shows today, it's like they always have to kill, most of the time, peoples favorites off nowadays! And it's not just in action/scifi or horror shows anymore either!

I see 3 Jurassic World movies. Totally kool. There were Dinosaurs in real life. That was 65 million years ago. No humans. Just animals from past. Wipe outed by mentors. Wow.
