Identifying symptoms like abdominal cramps, lower back pain, vaginal bleeding, pelvic pressure, and frequent contractions is crucial in seeking timely medical intervention.
Recognizing pre-labor indicators such as cervical changes, vaginal discharge changes, and membrane rupture is essential. These early signs help expectant mothers and healthcare professionals monitor and address preterm labor more effectively.

My first daughter was born at 28 weeks and 6 days. 990g. She stayed at NICU for 3 months. She’s almost 6 years old now. And now I am at the the same hospital again for my second one. He is 30 weeks today. Trying to keep him in my belly as long as we can now.

I had 9mm cervix with light spotting at 31 weeks. I was considered high risk for preterm, given the steroid injections, hospitalized and put on bedrest but ironically they decided to induce me at 38 weeks for other reasons. Made it to full term!

My pregnancy ended up being Preterm labor gave birth to my baby son three months ago I had him at 30 weeks and 6 days he almost made it to 31 weeks I wish tho lol but he been in the special care at the hospital for a month in a half with no problems at all which I was grateful the most hard thing was for his nurses to feed him with a bottle but they finally got him to eat from bottle and took out his feeding tube my doctor's did the best they could to keep my son in my stomach longer they kept checking on me and giving me lots of ultrasounds every 2 weeks all because I'm in the high risk pregnancy all because what happened to my first child my daughter she was born 24 weeks been in nicu for 3 months and had eye surgery she's 8 years old now and doing great both of my kids are super blessed. I guess you can't stop for a baby to come out early just glad my son stayed in my stomach for at least 30 weeks.

I’m 29weeks pregnant today. I woke up to go to the bathroom per usual and felt a massive cramp right above pubic bone/the spot right under my bump and pain throughout the entire private area, enough I bent over to lean on my bed. I immediately started taking notes/thinking of a plan (it was 3am). Turns out I just had a really hard bowel movement but it definitely hurt and felt like the contractions I had with my first! Preterm labor makes me so anxious

I am so happy that you posted this video Diana! The video and the comments gave me so much hope and courage. I started preterm labour at exactly week 32. I felt a constant pain in my lower abdomen and a dull pain in my back. As it was my first pregnancy, I didn’t realise something was wrong for 1 whole day. Finally when I went to the hospital I was very worried about having my baby early. But my Ob-gyn gave me tocolytics to stop the contractions, and steroids to help with the baby’s lungs. My cervix had dilated to 2.6cms. Finally I delivered a healthy baby boy and week 36!

I'm 28 weeks today. I've been on blood thinners the last 2 weeks. I was hospitalized for 10 after experiencing sharp severe left shoulder pain left lung and back pain. The Doctors concluded that I have PE and that a small peice of my left lung had died and lost all circulation. I'm on steroids and acid reducers as well as Norcos which I am highly against but now I see why I need to take half a pill every day because the spasms are so painful. The Doctors expect to take my little boy out at 37 weeks but the air capacity that I have is becoming very limited due to his increase in size. I had my other Two kids at 38 weeks and one Miscarriage at 21 weeks so not sure what to expect this time around but praying for a Miracle ❤

The fact that you dropped this video when I literally went into preterm labor let’s me know the universe is watching over me. Currently at the hospital under 2 day observation with procardia given every 6 hours to stop contractions. Received two burning steroid shots in the rear just in case baby does come anyway that will help with lung and brain development. IV for hydration. Just an fyi for all the mommies that may be wondering I brought on my early labor with walking. I overdid it and went too far. 2.4 miles one day and 3 days later did 2.75. Both outdoors and let’s just say the summer didn’t make it any better. Started with back pain with what I would consider period like cramps. I also had lower abdomen pain that was pretty strong. It didn’t come come in waves, it was constant and kinda made standing up straight super difficult. Im set to be getting released so please send up some baby dust as I’m only 32 + 4. But Diana I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you for all that you do. You’re so caring when it comes to providing info and I can tell you truly love helping others. Blessings to you and your family. 💕

Oh man! I definitely needed this video. I’m almost 34 weeks with baby #3 and all the signs and symptoms of this pregnancy are very different from my 2 boys. I am experiencing Braxtons at 22 weeks, with my boys it wasn’t until I was 30 weeks. Even then, they were mild, now I can barely get out of bed from Braxtons and back pain, groin pain, sciatica pain, the list goes on. Pregnancy pillow doesn’t help so my OB said unfortunately all the discomfort may not go away until after baby girl is born. Also been having lightening crotch which I also did not experience with my last pregnancies until I was 37 weeks. Hopefully none of this is a sign or indication of preterm.

HOWEVER… My cervix refuses to open. I was induced three times with my first at 42 weeks, labored 25 hours, and still had to have a C-section. They’re telling me with this baby I just have to either medicate or deal with the pain unless our health takes a turn. Why make me suffer? He’s measuring a week ahead and I’ll be 37 weeks next week.
