Ahh, to be Danish. To eat good food, drink Gammel Dansk at breakfast, and pay 50% tax. Tosproget, lækre og kloge, it's a hard life the Danes live. British stand up comedian, Conrad Moldens first comedy special, Danglish.
Danmark in a britisk komikers øjne
What is hygge? Why are the Danes so godtroende and who was the psychopath who invented Aalborg Snaps? These are some of the topics in the British Conrad's stand-up show.

Actually the word "gift" as in "to marry" also existed in Old English - a wedding chappel was for instance "a gifthus". A place where the bride was given or gifted away by her family to the groom. And a bat was also considered some as some sort of "mus" / mouse in Old & Middle English: hreaþemus = "waving mouse" 😉

I am Sorry - but it’s not cancer. Kræft. The swearword is: Kraft edeme: Power-swearing/ Oath. An ED means: An Oath. And it may be two words put together. Oath and the last end of another Word: Satme (mig/ me). So Oathsatanme. A personal opinion. Absolutely nothing about Cancer. That is spelled with æ. Kraft means POWER or FORCE. ☺️ I like your show!

I've been living in Denmark, I've pretty much enjoyed my stay but didn't farwelled so much as i could have .Was in Kopenhagen and in the countryside, around Kœge... Villages and suburban towns are very boring, that's true .U can hardly fraud or cheat on busses whilst on metro and trains it's possible .The advantage of knowing French is that it can help u a lot for speaking Danish, that's also true .Many words boroughed from French, sometimes written the same, sometimes with scandic style but easy to recognise and pronounce when being French speaker .The tongue is mostly gutturalistic and not so hard to say for French because of common vocabulary and pronouncing . Main difficultness should come from the purely original Old Norse words that don't look like the English spelling even if lots of words are similarly looking and both share the same root .
