Conrad being sassy and calling everyone out this season was an interesting change, but damn he was also being annoying AF. I’ll give him this, the “the world may never know” comment killed me 😂😂😂

I don’t think people realize how short a time frame this actually is. Steven and Jere just graduated from high school it’s finals week at college, Susanna just died a month ago and prom was couple weeks before that. So within a 2 month period of Conrad breaking up with Belly not because he wanted too but because he was overwhelmed with splitting time in Boston with his mom, trying to make time and see Belly and be a good boyfriend and the pressures of Brown which if you didn’t know is an Ivy League school. He had to let something go and it wasn’t going to be his mom. He had to step away from Belly and focus on the little time he had left with his mom and keep up with the pressure of Brown. Jere knows all of this and how little time it’s been and swooped in and took Conrad’s girl. And Belly is rebounding trying to prove to herself she don’t love Conrad and we all know that’s a damn lie.

No matter what Jere does or says, they will find an excuse, or they will talk about irrelevant things, e.g., Conrad did the same because he interrupted Cam's kiss with Belly. Or that Belly's hook up with Jere was the same thing with her relationship with Conrad. And that she cheated Jere with Conrad. I don't bother anymore. They're delusional. Seriously, why is it that some people treat Conrad like the initial victim forgetting that after he heard Jere and Belly might be hooking up in Sn 1, that's when he grew a pair and told Belly he liked her and wanted them to be together despite knowing it would hurt Jere.

Belly pisses me off so much. What do they even see in her? She has less character than a celery. She doesn't think before doing things. She's just not a well written character, sorry Jenny. I don't understand any of her motivations. She's literally in love with two guys at the same time, and there's nothing wrong with it except she doesn't care enough about both of them to respect them enough by letting them get over her before getting back with another brother.

Yes I know, I read the book too. Even though the story in the series is mostly sticking to the book, they have some differences that makes me feel like we have to look at them as two different story. For example, in the book the Debutante ball never existed. And ( if I remember correctly) Jere in the book doesn’t know how to cook, while in S1 jere cooked breakfast for everyone. In the series S2E6 Skye asks her which of the brothers is a better kisser when they are talking with Taylor before the party. She says "Cam was sweet, with Conrad I basically blacked out I wasn't there, and with Jeremiah is was really, really really hot" I’m team Conrad (in both series and books) but from the series right now (S2) you can tell that Jere is a better kisser

Jeremiah handled all of it so much better. Conrad in every situation pushed Belly away even when they were in a relationship. Your not supppose to treat other people like that if your friends or otherwise. Plus Conrad and Belly were no longer dating and it was awhile. He also broke up with her by acting up at prom which could of meant alot if he behaved. I don't understand how people think he's awesome when every turn he reacts to pain and uncomfort as being a jerk to everyone. EVEN if his mom was dying, you don't treat people around them like they are garbage. Jere even stated this to him when they got upset. Jere treated Belly so much better and is mature enought to handle an actual relationship.

Funny how Jeremiah being the youngest handled this situation so much better than Conrad because he was acting like a total child that didn't get what he wanted.

Seeing mother dying everyday, watching brother’s all lovey dovey with the girl he also likes..man up and be ready to step aside from the girl…that’s a lot! Although I’m not gonna watch next season, it was too painful in the books…and still can’t relate to Connie’s “struggling” character..i believe the author will also develop Connie to fit better into a hubby/bf material..because these two seasons he was a walking red flag in terms of a relationship.. but as a friend, son and brother he is really cute..even Belly got her development (in a twisted way, but still)..

Fr this felt like such an odd thing for his character to do

If the role were reversed people would be fuming at Jeremiah. The scene was funny at first but he kept going and it became simply mean. Mocking your brother's college just because it's not an Ivy league college like you're better than him, sl*tshaming Jeremiah talking about hookups he had when he was SINGLE (while he almost kissed belly when he was still with nicole, that's so funny of him), called him a Fcrybaby in the store after jeremiah was having enough of that toxic attitude, literally trying so bad to make Jere snap at him or proving that he knows belly best just because of some stupid candy or that she can't read while in the car, and the question about the kiss? Jeremiah asked him at thanksgiving to set boundaries without even yelling, and the worst thing he did was throwing fireworks NOT AT THEM (and still conrad couldve kissed her the day after without taking all of it back, fyi), staring at them with an unhappy face cause DUH HE LOVES HER, or yelling at belly ONE TIME because she left him ALONE (not because he was with Conrad) in the worst possible time, after she kissed him and told him he had a chance and then the day after he discovered about the cancer She went to him and told him WITH A SMILE she kissed conrad, and y'all made him the biggest villain of the show constantly. Now that conrad is basically being mean and manipulative and toxic, because he's hurting, it's fine? No. Jeremiah was jealous, but never this type of crazy jealous or mean. The fight with conrad where he called him coward was because conrad kept telling them to grow up and choosing the future of the house for everyone without talking to him first, like he did with susannah and Jere couldn't take the same sh*t again and had to begged him multiple times to talk to him. Belly and Jeremiah kissing after the exam wasnt right but they got caught in the moment, still not right but to act like that.. was simply to much for a person who claims to be the best of them. The bench scene between them shouldve really show yall how selfess jere is and how much he loves them more than anything, cause as Susannah said, he always put the others first. When Conrad finds out about the fact that they kissed and belly was scared of hurting him, conrad said " he's jere, he never takes things seriously" and begged her to be with him, and months later lied to belly about Jeremiah being fine and going on dates, and then the whole car scene. While Jeremiah gave him the blessing bc "when your brother tells you something like that...", Step aside and ofc continuing HURTING BADLY, and when he saw conrad after the kiss on the campus he waited for him FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, begged belly to talk to him, begged those two idiots to talk to eachother, put his love aside yet again. I can empathize with conrad on a certain level, but yall don't deserve a character like Jeremiah, as an individual character, that is always being trashed just because he gets in the way of your ship. He's too good despite his flaws.

This perfectly encapsulates why Jere is better for Belly - and just a better person in general. Let's all not forget that Belly was WITH Jere FIRST. And when she ditched him for Conrad, Jere told her how he felt, but his upset was direct and not petty. Conrad is being a bold faced a-hole. He had plenty of opportunities to fix things with Belly OR to tell her he loved her. We're supposed to feel bad for him because he sat on his heels and just assumed she would wait for him? Belly isn't Conrad's property and can do whatever she wants as a SINGLE woman. Conrad is a spoiled brat when he doesn't get what he wants. Jere was behaving maturely at all times. Conrad is a CHILD. Jere has never treated Belly this way. Conrad ALWAYS does this. He always treats Belly like garbage. TEAM JELLYFISH FOREVER! PS We ALL know JERE is the better kisser- Belly even SAID so. The hunger games wasn’t a love triangle. Katniss was only ever in love with Peeta and never shown any romantic interest in Gale especially in the books. She felt forced to attempt to see him in the romantic sense but couldn’t.

I might sound cruel, but I hope they both leave her. She needs to be by herself and grow up a little. She knew Conrad was still in love with her and she went behind his back and hooked up with Jeremiah. At least when Conrad first got together with her, he wasn't fully aware of how together Jeremiah and Belly were. Belly really is the problem here. I was like, yes we forget it's abt you and how you can feel better annd you can ruin the already very tense relationship btw the guys. I am team Conrad, but Belly annoyed me so much in the last episode that I am actually happy for Conrad to get away, heal and grow. LOL that's so disgusting, I was shocked how decent both Jere and Belly were here and how they handled it without getting into a huge fight. I don't have so much patience inside. That's the reason why Belly and Jere are meant to be, at least they're both healthy. It feels bad to see that she obviously has feelings for Conrad and she doesn't feel 100% sure about choosing Jere, but she will obviously be much happier during those episodes when she's with him. If they screw up the series and make her end up with Conrad, they might show us happy ending but in reality the girl would struggle and suffer in such a relationship

If they kissed in a cafe for example and she was in a different dress, I honestly doubt he would act differently. It's not about being mature, it's about being a human. Well Jeremiah asked if he still likes Belly not just once but TWICE. . Jere even said if there’s feelings there Jeremiah will Back off. But Conrad being Conrad still cannot ADMIT his true feelings. Conrad PROLONGING his true feelings just causes Heartbreak for everyone involved . And that’s why I can’t really feel sorry for Conrad.

This my favorite scene so far lol

Conrad's attitude in this scene is interesting considering he and Belly weren't even together, he's acting like he owns her. What's more ironic is that people accused Jeremiah of trying to guilt trip Belly and of being manipulative and gaslighting her only for Conrad to be behaving this way & I'm sure the same ones who got on Jeremiah find this cute and funny 😔🙄

LIVING FOR CONRAD IN HIS EVIL ERA. just kidding lol i know he's being petty, just like jeremiah said he's just doing this whole act so nobody realizes he's hurting. something pretty weird about belly that i noticed is that when she was with conrad she was so so worried about hurting jere's feelings because she knew he had feelings for her, i wished belly would be a little careful about conrad's feelings too cause she knows he's very heartbroken about them. i know belly tried talking it out with con and i'd also say she did enough, but yeah all i wanted was for her to be a little careful around him, keeping in mind that both of their mom passed away a month ago.

He didn't tell anyone because he didn't want to ruin the fun for her. He said to Cleveland that it would crush her if she knew that he knew. Also he didn't know that Belly and Jeremiah were hooking up last summer. Connie knew about Shayla's theory that she thought Belly and Jeremiah were hooking up but he just brushed it off as girl gossip because he didn't know. He didn't know that Belly and Jeremiah were hooking up until after the kiss. He didn't know until the damage was already done and belly blindsided him after the kiss. I understand Belly and Conrad were in the moment kissing but looking back she should have told Conrad before the kiss and talked with Conrad and Jeremiah to work it out. I feel bad for jeremiah and he deserves someone other than Belly to make him happy.

😢 I feel so bad for Conrad.

Unpopular opinion...Belly is an unlikable character. No matter what, she played Cam and Jeremiah the first summer. While I think Belly and Conrad should be endgame, Jere was totally right when he said she was distracting herself with him, and she just expected him to be fine. She sucked during the break up scene. Conrad was having an anxiety attack over his soon to die mother and she escalated it and said they were over. She chose to entertain a fight at Susanna's funeral...NOT the right place for that discussion. She basically abandons her lifelong best friend at his mother's funeral (Jere). She goes back to cousin's the second summer still reeling from her break-up with conrad who she said she was "out of her mind in love with". It could have only been a few months at best since prom, and in ONE week, she's over him and back to Jere. I know shes a teen. I've been one. I can't imagine being that reckless with other's feelings. The show is entertaining enough, but she's hard to stomach sometimes.
