Conrad personality is more complicated than jeremiah he was through a lot and he needed someone to be there for him but there was no one and not because jeremiah treated her with some gentle he would be the best for her I mean conie was there for her since they were children and he care about her but jere noticed her when she turned “pretty”

I seriously don't get why people prefer Conrad over Jeremiah. Jeremiah's actor has so much range. He can make you feel like you wanna dance all night. To feeling like crying the next. You can see it in his eyes that he's in love belly. He's always there when she needs him, he treats her way better than conrad does. & he's WAY cuter than Conrad. Where's Conrad's actor is like this 😐 80% of the time. Even when he's having a "moment" with belly. He's emotionally unavailable. He's lowkey so f*cking mean to her. I mean i get it. He's an easy character for people to project their saviour complexes onto. But he'd be a horrble person to be in a relationship with. jeremiah is the obvious choice for belly.

EXACTLY. I’m so tired of people saying “you just don’t understand Conrad’s character” no he’s moody and upset all the time cuz of his moms cancer which is valid but why drag belly into it. She tries to give emotional support but he doesn’t want it but still wants to lead her on. Their moments are also “it was just a mistake”. While with Jeremiah he knows what he wants and doesn’t lead belly on Completely agree jere is so much cuter

In the books they almost get married after a 2 year relationship and she’s in college, but right before the wedding, on the wedding day, they decide to break it off. She ends up marrying Conrad later in the books. Edit: I’m team Conrad because Bonrad has more chemistry and it has more heartache and love in it, but I’m not completely against Jelly. It’s still cute lol

I’ve read all 3 books and even though the central theme is the same , there’s many parts that are different and didn’t really happen in the books compared to the series. Belly lost her virginity to Conrad early on , which that didn’t happen. So I’m wondering now if she’s also going to go all the way with Jere in this series.

The forbidden older brother who was sweet at times and it’s a secret crush but Jeremiah coming in with the childhood best friend who knows her like the back of his hand and what she deserves as compared to Conrad liking the attention he gets and putting both of them down. So even tho Jere seems like the obvious choice the desire and the thrill from Conrad is what she wants as well as in the books his character is slightly different 🤷‍♀️
