Great review, and you caught many of the common issues... as for the TV, forgot to secure mine last trip and it is DOA... ripped the wires right out of it. I'm going to install a 12v TV (see youtube video as to how to make any TV 12v) and fab a hanger to hang it from the lifting brace inside and create another bracket for outside. Rare that we use it but good for rain. I also pulled our steps out. Bought 2 metal anti-slip step units from Amazon.

Great idea. I want to get a bigger better TV in there (32" or so) but most of them are AC. Would love to see which video you used and which steps you bought.

Our faucet used to leak as well. Now, I shut the pump off, open the tapes to depressurize and then slide the fridge/cooker slide almost all the way before closing the faucets and folding the goose-neck down and complete the pack-up. Seems to have solved the leak issue.

Interesting tip on sliding the kitchen in partially. Will try that. I guess there's some compression of the lines when you do that? Also there's a schraeder valve on the pump itself and I think it helps to depressurize that

And my electrical system was replaced by a full Redarc TVMS/Manager 30. I re-wired the whole camper with appropriate gauge wire.

Looked at that unit in Corsicana tx, really neat camper but all that canvas was a no sale. Velcro and canvas warranty was almost non existent.... it has got so pros and cons, but I did really like the way it was all set up.

Not to mention it is a really CHEAP TV. Love our 490... but you need to be ready to do some upgrades over time.

I yanked out the AC. Like you said, when are ever going to be plugged in to shore in that trailer. Plus it saves weight yanking out the 50 amp HEAVY wire/shore plug.

In South Africa, where these originate from, one gets them optioned out with Lithium-Iron batteries, Solar panels, hybrid inverters and carging from the engine's altanator when on the go. Very handy indeed.

We don’t use our shower setup. We have a full joolca tent and tankless water heater setup to get it away from the trailer and water/mud
