Start during the lil Camera sweep in at the beginning of the match, giving enough time to welcome people to the video and talk a little about the video before the towers pull up. MAYBE put your warband cards on screen during the sweep in so people know what your running, even if you don't end up using them all.

I disagree about the maul nerf. Has it made things better? A bit, but it wasn't nearly enough. Maul still does *WAY* too much damage. Cooldowns increases don't really make a difference when you kill everything on the first combo.

Are u saying after using mauls or by seeing other mauls atkin u ? i started as Poleaxe main then to maul main main coz it was OP. But now i do feel big difference after nerf. They do gud dmg but i cant rampaging thoughtlessly like before. Now ive started using poleaxe again as chaindart users have become low as well

@@rikrishshrestha5421 I'm still seeing stacks of mauls in my fights -- rarely fewer than 5 on a team...but at least it's not 10-12 every match. The issue may just be the fact that when they operate in groups they can't be stopped. They do too much damage and too much CC and there's no counter to a group of them...which you can't really say about any other class. Stack up 3-5 DBs and yes, you'll be annoyed at the number of shurikens and the damage they deal, but they won't wipe your entire stack and kill everyone. Stack 3-5 mauls and everything within 20m dies. Units. Heroes. Doesn't matter. Everything dies.

@@dzexii No, it's not. It *may* be more balanced than it was at the start of the season, but it's still OP compared to pretty much every other weapon. I love the little blurb they show at the bottom of the loading screen: "Some heroes are better at killing units and some are better at killing other heroes."...and then there's maul that's good at killing everything.

Any advice on using fortes in the open field? During our last TW, I saw a shortsword ride up close to my fortes, drawing they pikes as he circled around just out of reach, then, he charged his cav in while the pikes were pointed at his hero, so the cav effectively got a back charge on my fortes. It was very well played on his part and was something I hadn't seen anyone do before.

There's really no way to counter that unless you use your own hero to stun him, since he's just exploiting the goofy AI which is unavoidable unless you stun him, bring your forte's up close, etc

Personally, I think that the maul nerf was a bit overkill. If anything, they should have buffer the maul by making all its cooldowns reduced to 3 seconds. I know this may seem biased, but I am trying to think of the long run. (I main maul)
