I'm sorry for writing a second comment which is definitely annoying, but I felt that my old comment would get longer and I just wanted to say: Thank you,Possible History.I never thought that anyone might ever make a video for Pakistan. You have no idea how much this means for most of the youth here because I have a couple of friends who are also great fans of alternate history and it was them who introduced me to your channel.Your content is very different from other channels because you never discuss any sort of controversial content and even if you ever did,you always approach it with a neutral standpoint and present your thoughts and ideas with real facts and information instead of coming up with things yourself(unlike other channels I know) and always reason and explain with logic instead of emotion, personal belief or favourite or politics. This is what makes your channel so amazing and even how your channel always discusses everything from everywhere making your content so diverse(instead of just sticking with just World Wars,Cold War and other stereotypical stuff),so that even your fans get knowledge about what we would've never known about. In short,I love your channel and I hope I'll be here long enough to see you get famous and get the fame and appreciation that you deserve. Love from Pakistan.💞💞💞

I would like to recommend a concept for a new series you could do. The idea is that you take the place of a historical leader, and you choose what decisions to make as that historical leader based on what would be the most beneficial for the nation the historical leader you chose ruled over. The way you would go about doing this is you would base your decisions off of the knowledge you had at your disposal at the time. For example, you could do a video where you take the place of Louis XIV and you choose how you would expand the size, influence and power of France in the 17th and 18th centuries. Or you could take the place of Louis XV and decide how you could preserve the French empire in America and India. Perhaps you could even take the place of Louis XVI and decide how you could prevent the french revolution if you were in his position. A criticism you could levy at this idea is that it’s too similar to the series you’re already doing on “What if everything went perfectly for X”, but I disagree. Firstly, this series is about making decisions as a single person, not for an entire nation over the course of hundreds of years. Secondly, with your “What if everything went perfectly for X” series, you utilize the benefit of hindsight. With this series, you limit yourself to the knowledge of your chosen leader. You Don’t HAVE to do it this way, you could utilize the benefit of hindsight for this series too, but limiting yourself this way would help differentiate this series from your “What if everything went perfectly for X” series. You might as well try this idea on for a video and see how it performs. If it performs badly, you don’t have to continue it. But if it performs well, you could have another successful series on your hands. It is low risk, high reward. With how many historical leaders there are, the possibilities for this series are limitless! Some ideas for historical leaders to make videos on are Seleucus, Justinian, Louis the Pious, John I, Charles V, Phillip II of Spain, Charles XII, Peter III, Napoleon, Charles X, Napoleon III, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and so many more!

@possiblehistory, aren't going to make more videos about roman provinces after Trajan as well? I seemed to recall about Hispania being split into 5 provinces before 400s, Pannonia into 4, Africa Proconsularis separating into Africa and Tripolitania and another one, and the original Mauretania would end into 3 rather than 2. That, and as well pos-500's Eastern Roman Empire's provinces and Byzantine' Themes.

753 BCE (foundation of Rome) to 1453 (the fall of Constantinople). If you really want to get technical, you can argue that Roman civilization only ended in 1461, 1475, - or that it even lasts today in the form of the Catholic Church. Either way, Rome as a civilization lasted around two millennia.

if you count the holy roman empire as rome than the empire of austria should be included too meaning you'd have to include 1918 also. And if were getting really abstract, the crown prince of austria hungary otto von habsburg who was the son of the last austrian emperor died in 2011 meaning you could even argue that rome fell in 2011. Also if were including all eastern rome rump states than we should also include dalmatia under julius nepos which fell in 480 and the kingdom of Soissons which fell in 486. Also we need to take note that the actual eastern roman empire didn't fall in 1453 but actually fell in 1204 after the 4th crusade, the "eastern roman empire" after was just the kingdom of Nicaea which would fall in 1453,

No, I don't mean what if it just never formed or united, or anything along those lines- But, what if France, in its common borders, was simply erased off of the map? I imagine it'd have great ramifications, with Caesar's crossing of the Rubicon erased, and Hannibal not being able to go through Hispania to Rome. Maybe more focus is put onto the Balkans later in the Romans' history, replacing France with Romania or something along those lines. I think it'd be funny.

What if Napoleon sold Louisiana to someone else, maybe Russia or Ottomans, or even Britain or Denmark

Well, first off,the Ottomans and Russians have no reason to buy Louisiana as they have no interest in North America,so cut them out. Second,Napoleon sold Louisiana,so that he could get enough money to fund the war he was having against the British,so cut them out too. I don't know much about Denmark.

@@nightvvisher7713 Well, the Confederation of the Rhine was a French puppet.Heck, most of Europe was either a puppet or a place where Napoleon made either one his family member or general the ruler or just completely under his rule,so he did technically own all of their wealth either way,so point in selling it to them. However, maybe Russia might be a perfect candidate,so yeah.Let us go with Russia.
