Dude when I was growing up in Vermont, my brother and I would hike our dogs through the woods behind our property on a hill. We'd take snowshoes with us because the snow was so freaking deep, plus it was easier to find our trail. We hiked for hours, and came upon our own frozen waterfall, nowhere near as epic as the one you guys came across, but it was still cool! It had a sort of cave behind it that was also like a ice slide down to the bottom. There's something so exciting about finding these frozen waterfalls and just a sense of awe imagining what it was like un-frozen.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mateo and a few people from the TacomaBeast crew at the Overland Expo in Flagstaff recently and they couldn't have been cooler and nicer! Also, this video is INSANE! The drone shots are next level, the music is sick, everything is top notch. I mean, I sincerely love all the TB videos but this is a whole other level! Seeing the 08s made me so happy. I almost cried. We do things similar here in guyana (back and forth till you get to the other side) recovery gear is last option 😅. Cant wait for the TacomaBeast team to come down to south america. ❤

Friggin awesome! That type of snow makes me cringe! Probably the worst type of snow to be wheeling in. Once spent 7+hrs stuck on a trail of that snow, 50km from the nearest road, all by myself with literally no recovery gear! Worst off-roading experience ever! But I did learn a lot from that, like never go alone and at minimum bring a shovel!

Been waiting to see this video to come out. I live in Sundre the place they fuelled up at in the beginning. Think on the way back after they stopped at the truck wash where I work. Sweet trucks and most of all good people

Finally someone with snow chains!

I have to do this pretty much everyday in the winter for work in a rear wheel driver sprinter van on all season tires. Cottage and back roads usually never plowed by the time we show up to site. lol

Me a guy born and raised in the desert and rarely see snow….holy hell these dudes can drive

9:15. I’m from Texas and my summers are 120° with 100% humidity and our winters might get as low as 20° I have seen it go to -5° but that has been 2 times in my life. I couldn’t imagine the Canadian winter, I would die from the cold

2nd gen the best gen. looking at a procharger soon. 05 with 440k still passes the compression test. the 1gr are bulletproof. great video

Out of curiosity, why didn’t you air down or use chains? I understand you can’t exactly floor it when aired down to extremes or when chained, but would those have helped you get through the deep snow and creek crossings better?

Out of curiosity though, in deep snow that like did you find it better to be in chains? Or did you guys try and air down at all and see if that helped more? I got my first set of chains recently but haven’t had the chance to use them. Curious if I should plan on airing down or just using chains the next time I go through deep snow off the pavement.
