The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

I love to hear Connie FRancis sing and I used to listen to my Dads old record albums that my Dad had of her ! I was 3 or 4 when I first heard her sing on his old Connie FRancis records ! I love her songs and Im goig on 66 yers old so was just a kid when she first was making records ! Never saw her in person just heard her on my Dads records ! Dad would be going on 106 years old if he were still alive ! He died Jan 14th 1988 age 71 . Hes been gone almost 34 years now .
