Instead of redistributing congress should have a plan for creating wealth for people. Encourage investment, encourage entrepreneur and encourage people to take part in workforce. Instead of all these the congress is talking about redistribution of the wealth. Problem with that is it is zero sum game, if you take money from one person and distribute to another, both of them will loose the motivation to work. After few years both will be in line of the ration. Eventually entire country will be poor in few years. .... Its the same trend everywhere in the world. We should not blame top 1 % for creating wealth. Even in school we select that one person who gives correct answers as Top 1 student. This is very dangerous for any country to target the individuals for their special ability.

This is a very dangerous thought, they are very crazy that they will do anything...

In AI era getting job is challenging because of huge gap between birth rate and utilise of manpower because of AI in industry. So right now we need population control. But special community will be against of that because they want huge population of that community. Now if the tax will be distributed to everyone in the name of empowerment, definitely money flow will happen to one direction. PM Modi explain in simple language, that's all. For example in Karnataka Congress bring one bill that Only Temple has to pay the tax not any other religion organization. Now that tax will be utilised for all.

I used to vote for congress till 2019, but assessing the BJP's development for "ALL" for past 10 years like make in India, free covid vaccines(made in India) for all, expressways and highways, last 10 years lowest inflation as compared to 2004-2014, removing extreme poverty to less than 3%, toilets, AIIMS, IITs, IIMs, Airports, free rations for poor due to covid, 370 removal, resolving Shri Ram temple issue and so on and then learning about congress vote appeasement politics like: caste census, waqf board, inclusion of laws against hindus, religious acts, restoration of article 370, worship acts and controlling wealth of only hindu temples and so on, I realized that, congress is nothing but black angrez who kept my India divided.....thus, my entire family's voted for BJP and will always vote for them.......

Honestly I think the focus of debate is wrong here. Look there is wealth inequality in India. And that is happened because after the 1992 reforms the formal sector started to earn more and hence save more and the informal sector including agriculture started to earn less. And this is why the rural urban gap is rising because urban economy is far more formalized where rural economy still remains heavily informal. In short the growth has come in urban and formal sector but not in the rural informal and agricultural sector. That is a big concern. But the inequality in India does comes not from wealth as much but comes more from income. We are probably over stating the wealth effect in India. Yes of course if we take the top 5 % then its different issue but if we take the average middle class then its not that middle class in India is super rich. Certainly by the cost of living standards. But the INC's initiative is important because it looks at the bottom tier of income earners and given India's very large labor force and unequal access to skills and labor there is probably has to be some strong welfare measure for the bottom of the pyramid.

What will happen if perfect wealth distribution takes place? Everybody's income will become Rs 2 lakhs an year. Government income tax revenue as per current slabs will reduce to zero. All middle and upper class consumption will become zero. As per the consumption figures released by Congress, 90% of industries catering to these classes will close down. Hence INR 2 lakhs per capita income an year will reduce to INR 20,000 per year. Simultaneously since everybody is vying for basic goods like food, food inflation will skyrocket. I understand that Congress will come back and say that they will not redistribute fully but partly. But this is the direction that they are proposing.
