I just remembered something, and in one of the episodes of The Camp Cast (a podcast Alex had with his mate James) Alex did mention that he has a tendency to over-exaggerate the opinions he holds in his head and he said it was because of his past dealings with friends, so you were right about that point (again, not an excuse ofc, but it does explain things a lot). +he also did acknowledge in the episode that he needs to work on that bad habit.

There was more than one photo of Slazo and that girl kissing. From memory there was a similar one with another friend in the photo, too. There was even one of a large hickey on his neck, apparently from her. From the pics and comments on them, it appeared consensual. In fact, in the next Camp Cast episode that Slazo was in, Alex joked about the hickey. So, maybe he meant a different party, and possibly different girl.

Nice coverage Bowblax, this is why I subbed! Slazo didn't deny his actions, but he contextualize the event on his perspective, and he made it clear that it was a bad relationship, not a 53xu4l aggression. Alexx however, keeps on taking the high road to a cliff while Slazo brought himself down to earth and clarify his situations.

Good video Bowblax, good take. I think I agree that Alex isnt intentionally being malicious. But rather careless (as usual) and making assumptions based on his experiences and how he views the world. But at the same time I have to question the potential for malicious intent due to several factors. His constant brown nosing of bigger KZreadr's and then ditching them once he grew past them for example. Its entirely possible hes attacking other KZreadrs to thin out the competition. All that said he does have a habit of not doing his research, speaking on things he has no idea about, and just reacting to snippets of information. Regardless of what I think, or even you, having actually spoken to him, he betrayed a friend and perpetuated the most dangerous of allegations that can be made at a young man.

Alex was malicious in trying to use the situation to deflect from his own abusive nature, but it may well be possible that Slazo is guilty of sexual assault/rape by coercion. It happens all the time and isn’t taken seriously enough especially in relationships because people still think your husband can’t rape you, sex under the heavy influence of drugs or alcohol is consensual, or asking a woman 50 times until she breaks down and gives in is enthusiastic consent Maybe Alex was mistaken, maybe Alex was lying, or maybe Slazo did take advantage of that girl but Alex thought it was great at the time and threw Slazo under the bus to distance himself from the incident He’s still a snake and a worm

If what you are saying is true this really makes Alex look bad. Trying to destroy someone just because they hooked up with a friend of yours is very troubling. That may have been what motivated Alex's actions (and why he refuses to issue a retraction). It would be interesting to find out what Alex's friend says about what happened at that party. Perhaps that can be the next interview on RFC After Hours come Monday. Good work on the research Josh (you are very informative on your videos).

Alex is really starting to get on my nerves. Like I really used to enjoy his content but he's literally just become such a bad wagon rider and honestly mean.

An interesting bit of facial/body language betrayal at 1:35. Alex says, "I don't believe he's innocent", and then his eyes quickly sweep off to the right ... a tell-tale sign of deceit. Then, he raises his eyebrows in a subconscious attempt to appear innocent after the lie.

@@NotNyx I do agree with you. Some people glance off to one side often when they're talking. However, if you look at the rest of the video, Alex doesn't seem to be glancing to his right much at all. The fact that he says he doesn't believe Slazo is innocent, and then glances right while raising his eyebrows (two common indicators of deceit, back-to-back), is not only a contrast to his "normal" facial behavior in the rest of the video, but would also indicate that Alex actually KNOWS that Slazo is innocent and is choosing to lie about it. Either way, I think he's icky.

@@NotNyx Very true, and I feel terrible for Slazo. I can't even imagine going through something like this... especially in the public eye. I hope he's okay. We all make mistakes when we're teenagers. He could have been a better boyfriend, sure... but that's how we learn in life. We make mistakes and then change our future behavior based on things that went wrong in the past. Chey, Alex, Anii and everyone else involved in this slander party have some nasty karma coming their way in the future.

honestly, i think this is the most accurate video on the situation i've seen. the points you made make sense with his past behavior, and i agree that he doesn't have malicious intent but he handled the situation horribly and he needs to publicly apologize because this isn't a mistake you can just brush over. the points on ignorance and exaggeration were perfect in my eyes, and i feel like he's too quick to jump on board with the popular opinion and he's done it so much to the point that he probably feels stupid going back on so many opinions. but this isn't an opinion you can't go back on. he's stating his opinions and assumptions as fact which is dangerous in a community like this, especially when in regards to rape.

The commentary community should've taken the Jontron approach and ignore the whole thing until they heard more news before automatically taking the side of a lying sociopath willing to ruin Slazo's life for being a bad boyfriend

alex has no idea how to practice what he preaches. period. he makes videos speaking out against witholding important info in situations like this one, making sure you keep your moral compass on point, and only accusing the rightfully proven whackjobs who deserve it yet he turns around and does the opposite. i discovered him early this year and started supporting him but holy fuck these past few months he has really been a whole lot bolder with the fuck ups and handling them so, so poorly. i stopped supporting him real damn fast. there are other commentator channels who genuinely deserve the support a lot more than him and ironically i'm discovering them all BECAUSE of him. you included actually, and i'm about to start supporting because this entire video was really, really well put together and articulate in every point made. you did a fantastic job.

I completely believe he's maliciously doing this. I don't think ImAllexx is a bad person at all, he's just a bandwagoner and says these things likely because he is too lazy to do his research and develop his own opinion, and it shows in some of his videos adressing other dramas. the thing that makes it worse is that while other youtubers have no problem admitting their mistake, alex likes to stick to his guns. there is no shame in changing your mind about something and to admit that you make a mistake earns you more respect. I do see that some people seem to think that owning up to your mistakes makes you look stupid or foolish and in his case, I think that may be what the problem is.

To be honest I've grown tired of Alex's content. He seems to make the same video over and over again but with a different person in the title. Then you have the hypocrisy with things like his merhandise. If he made a joke about bad merhandise and then sold his own bad stuff for a week as a joke it would be fine but he instead made it a permanent thing. Then there is the whole cancel culture that has become cancerous and he targets people who have made simple one off mistakes that are sometimes out of their control (JoJo Siwa for example) Then you have the whole thing of making a video as early as possible before all the facts come out and he decided to throw an old friend under the bus when he was accused of something very serious. Honestly he has become the thing that he used to mock and become famous from.

As someone who’s grown up around and has helped loved ones with the same, Alex is acting like he has a weed problem. Whether it’s changing to a less desirable strain or the amount used, this is exactly what weed paranoia looks like. A vague general idea of paranoia that looks for unreasonable signals around him and ties very loose points together until he convinces himself he’s right. Even when real world evidence debunks the idea, the suspicious emotions are still there. The “this specific example may not have happened but he still very much sets off rapist alarms so he just _has_ to be one.” My dad had it with the neighbours and how they schemed to disturb his sleep (they got up early for work and had normal lives during his afternoon naps), my close friend believed her teacher was trying to seduce her (he asked about her weekends and nights because she partied too hard slept too little and failed his class), my ex thought I was with him for his money (he once covered my lunch because I’d forgotten my wallet and complained I couldn’t afford all the fancy electronics he had). When they got clean, the paranoia subsided and suddenly they felt very stupid and embarrassed for the things they claimed. Weed addiction is very real and ideas on it are black and white- either weed is gateway poison corrupting our youths or it’s a harmless cure for all problems. People lack ability to focus or stay on topic, eat too much or too little, talk for hours without end, sleep too much or too little, get anxious or paranoid, obsess over their stash and next smoke and jobs become drug money above all else. Whether or not he actually does have a weed problem specifically, if you have 25 friends who turn out to be sexual predators you’re doing something very wrong. He needs therapy to figure out who he is and what he wants to achieve in life.

Maybe Alex is triggered and overeating bc of some kind of ptsd but he should dissociate himself from this situation then

When you have been about a bit longer you will understand that letting someone stay at your place for a few weeks does not automatically make them your best mate and nor is it an endorsement that they are a great guy.

I think it sucks what happened to slazo especially because these are his friends but I took one good thing from this and I'm sorry it is at his expensive. This taught me as a mom what I need to talk to my sons about when they start talking to the people they have feelings for I have to tell the what's important to be said in private or text and what's important to not be said what's important and how you act when you're alone vs when you're not and it sucks. it sucks that I have to teach my 2 sons that they have to make sure that they never put themselves in a position where a girl can get spiteful and completely ruin their life just because she said this and she will be believed and he has no back up. I mean slazo had back up and his life is still changed from this
