In my opinion Iron man character describes, even though how many gods exist, how many super heroes with power exists, no one will be great enough to save the universe than a Ordinary Human being with his brain, skills and all good qualities a human possess. MCU ended this movie showing the triumph of human power over mystic and godly power

@@deepathomas4338 Do you know in the Marvel Comics Tony Stark builds an armor called Thor Buster just like Hulk Buster that can pick up the Mjonier. MCU did not even explore even 50% of all the characters potential, another example is that Tony Stark manages to use extremis to put his entire armor in his bone marrow.

People talk about Tony Stark completing his character arc in Endgame by sacrificing himself with the snap but he had already made the sacrifice play several times before. He told Pepper to turn on the arc reactor in order to kill Jebidiah (whatever) in the first Iron Man movie even though he was also in the blast area and could've died, he flew the nuke through the portal in the first Avengers movie, he blew up the floating city in AOU and even told Thor they'd probably die doing it, he got on Thanos/Ebony Maw's ship to save The Wizard in Infinity War knowing there was only a small chance of coming back, and he went on the time heist knowing before hand that the chances of making it through alive were slim. Cap just made a snap judgement in the first Avengers movie after only knowing Stark for a short amount of time when he said Tony wouldn't make the sacrifice play. Maybe Tony wouldn't have thrown himself on a grenadebut he was clearly willing to sacrifice his life to achieve the mission, I just think he wanted to be more strategic with his sacrifice and only use it as a last resort.

Tony wouldn't have jumped on a grenade, he would've thrown a tech on top of it that would've dealt with the grenade. Tony is more of a brain guy instead of muscle guy. Like "why take stairs when you can take a lift." You feel me? I'm kinda bad at explaining things so cope with it 😃

Love how perfectly this video predicted Endgame. Tony realized the power of the stones, so he created his own Infinity Gauntlet to harness that power and used it to kill Thanos in the end.

Why Thanos Fears Tony Answer: Because Tony is smart, he’s capable, he’s adaptive, he’s the only one who could even hold their own against Thanos without need of supernatural abilities, his intelligence doesn’t simply rival that of Thanos, it surpasses it

When he grabbed the gauntlet at the end of Endgame, the nanobots released the stones and moved them into Tony's suit. That's the only way it could have happened. He couldn't have just ripped the stones out one by one without Thanos noticing.

Hulk was the only avenger that thanos was supposed to actively avoid. I really hoped Hulk would get some kinda comeback on him on endgame. Particularly when Banner says 'Its like it was made for me' had me in the cinema thinking i was going to see world war hulk, and then he gets 0 screentime in the actual battle

I think more people were expecting something like the professor Hulk/merged Hulk going into a fistfight with Thanos. "You killed Natasha" (Hulk gets a punch in the face, seen from Hulk's back) "I don't know who that is and i don't care" The camera turns a bit to show Hulk and Thanos facing each other, Thanos hitting hulk again, hard, camera turning further to show Thanos from 3/4th behind, going in for a huge hit. And then focus on how Thanos' fist is cought by Hulk, this time no longer merged Hulk but a very angry World War Hulk and making a dead stop to that punch. "Hulk does care" in a focused, scary calm tone. Hulk proceeds to crush Thanos' fist, rip gems of the infinity gauntlet and throwing those to Tony. It could work with just a couple of seconds of screentime, about the same as the "Puny God" bit.

I agree. It would've been cool to see Professor Hulk fight Thanos as revenge for Natasha and a rematch for the beating Thanos gave Hulk on Thor's ship. To see Professor Hulk avenge himself and his heartfelt loss in fight with precise calculating intelligence, much unlike his first encounter against Thanos, who showcased himself as brilliant tactician of battle and combat, would have, in my opinion, been a more fitting sub fight in Endgame instead of the mini scrap between Capt. Marvel and Thanos..

Tony stark’s most powerful weapon is his mind. That’s why he becomes fully realized with the bleeding edge / nontech suit. It responds directly to his thoughts so his suit is a direct extension of his powerful mind.

I think one of the best example of tony adapting and just being a genius is in iron man 3 when that one chick fakes being a cop and the way he manages to kill her

which, having watched this after endgame's release, leads me to believe he watched what happened to hulk when he used the glove and found a way to use the reality stone to hide his being alive still from the avengers so he, Pepper and their daughter could hang out in their woodland villa alone, with only Cap being the one who would "just know," going to the past to hide out as Rodger Stevens and live with Peggy, and he would leave Tony alone anyway because his time with Peggy would be a reminder that heroes need lives too. Awwww.

3:33 its interesting that our first glimpse and line about Thanos was referencing courting Death. Thanos grinned at that statement. As we know from the comics that was the original plot line of Infinity Gauntlet but it got completely abandoned and we never got a version of Death as a physical entity in the MCU.

In Civil War, when he knew Ant-Man was able to sneak around between the spaces of the parts of his suit, he later applied Nanotech to his suit

When Rhodey fell in Civil War, he added a parachute in Peter's suit (while he had the suit before handing it over to Peter himself after the civil war). The thrusters were for Ultrasonic flight when he was not able to catch Rhodes. He may had got the idea when he was in his first fight with the F-22 raptors. Also he added auto aiming missiles when his aiming system failed in the Civil War. He went nanotech, when Antman penetrated in his suit.

His suit upgrades are after the fact. Learning from his mistakes, avoiding the same situation encountering it only once. “We’re the avengers, not the prevengers? Right, we do our best work after the fact” haha

Not always. The 35 suits of the iron legion are all experiments to find new adaptions and heights. Including greater speed, height, space travel, deep sea travel, disaster rescue, stealth to the point of becoming invisible, radiation protection, non lethal weaponry like Soundwave and with the mark 42 and 43 armor controlled by thought. I agree that he starts building after witnessing the great danger in space, but that was just redirecting his attention. Before that he did all he could to give cities clean energy with arc reactors and improving society. And its natural that when Tony sees a flaw leading to an accident or being exploited by an enemy he makes it his top priority to counter it as fast as possible. Otherwise they are not top priority

That's the nature of engineering. You design it the best you can given what you know at the time, but then you gotta test it as rigorously as possible until a flaw is found and you fix that flaw in the next iteration. Look up the concept of Highly Accelerated Life testing. It's just that Stark uses combat to test his creations and there ain't any situation more likely to reduce the life span of a design than combat.

You've got to remember that scarlett witch scared thanos so much for his life that he nuked his whole army for a chance of survival

Being a futurist would explain how they subconsciously know of the other party's existence. Like Tony, who instinctively knew a big bad enemy was out there, but didn't know it was someone named Thanos. It doesn't explain how Thanos knew exactly who Tony was, even his name. I think a more likely explanation would be that he got much more details on the battle during Avengers 1 than we suspect. Like maybe the scepter was actually a spycam and Thanos heard a lot of information about all his Earth enemies out of that or something.

There is a small flaw in ur talking abt him upgrading his suit, the suit in the fight with thanos was made with nanites that form into whatever he is thinking about, when he was thinking abt the movie aliens he made a plasma cannon shaped like a xenomorph head

4:37 are we not even gonna mention the fact that he created an entire new element to survive

you also need another vital trait which is resource. both batman and ironman are rich. Shuri also had the riches of Wakanda so thats why these people were successful. they have the knowledge to do it, the will to commit, and the actual materials required to turn idea into reality. Banner has multiple PhDs, has the will to control Hulk himself, but he's not as resourceful as Tony and thats why even after Professor Hulk its no match to Tony

Imagine if Tony Stark's suits and armor are made of vibranium.

I think that Tony has the capability to defeat Thanos but not with his bare hands, he might be a little bit selfish and eager to get all the attention but he has an IQ more than any other character in the franchise. Despite all other efforts he is able to sacrifice himself for the rest of mankind

I think Tony's super power could be classified as something like the infinite possibility of man, in which he could be come anything and or almost everything. Since he is just a man, that builds a suit that is capable of a large amount of variations

Thus whole video can be summed into "the mind stone can show the future to whoever it wants".

Another adaptation scene that was missing was the fight scene in the first Avengers movie between Thor and Iron Man in the forest, where Thor strikes him with lightning and Starks suit energy levels reach over 400% capacity. We can see Stark's adaptive resolution in Avengers Endgame in the final fight with Thanos, when Stark orders Thor to attack him and his suit changes to receive the entire power of the lightning strike and then uses his blasters to attack Thanos.

The reason his suit can sustain Thor's hammer thunder is due to back in Iron Man 2, where his suit is basically useless after being attack by whiplash. And so he enhanced the overload capacity and basically saved him from Thor encounter... Then he proceeds to use this as feature in his nanosuit

You make some very good and reasonable arguments. Though I would add a couple caveats to these. Such as I would say that though his views as a futurist aid in his progress I think that anyone with similar intelligence would be able to do it with his resources and enough time, I believe that the real driving force thar makes such rapid progression possible his his morality, conscience and fear of loss/failure. You see heavily in the first Iron Man movie and you see it in Spiderman: Homecoming when he tells Peter "I wanted you to be better". His hatred for his flaws and failures I believe are what truly makes him (combined with his views as a futurist) capable of such rapid adaptation

When he fails to save Rhodey, 6:42 He also adds a parachute to Spider-man's suit aswell and most likely to Rhodey's next suit.

It’s about Tony’s character at the time. At the time Cap is seen as altruistic and selfless while Stark is seen as selfish and narcissistic. Cap’s trying to say that without the Suit Tony wouldn’t be valuable to a team. Cap already proved that he would be when he jumped on the grenade in the original movie.

True, however in cap's defense, even without the serum he was still the same man willing to do what he could. Per the creator's own words, the serum takes who he is at his core and enhances it.

I don't remember if I noticed this the first time I watched the movie but watching it here I noticed that Tasha Romanoff Black widow just response to what Tony said in this video it's 4:10 and when Tony is verbally stripped of his armor to say what's left Black widow had a pretty interesting light response that I think says a lot

That is a lot of adaptation I never noticed... That's actually really cool.

nanotech hybrid where the solid armor has nanotech that helps repair and replace parts. And as extra adaptation, in the movie you can see that the nanotech is quite weak but verry adaptable.

Imagine if Tony upgraded the Hulk buster suit with nanotech and Vibranium tech from Wakanda, and still had a giant floating machine in the sky raining down more tech in case of repairs. What if he had made even more suits like in Iron Man 3 and had an AI controlling all of them to fight, again, with Vibranium and nanotech.

I always thought because of what Tony Stark did in avengers 2012 how he was willing to make that ultimate sacrifice to save New York!! Anybody who's willing to make that ultimate sacrifice to save their home the ones they love any villain would see that as a threat they would do anything to stop the villain.

Imagine this; the nanotech suit but made out of tibranium and with pym particles so the nanotechnology can grow and shrink adding protection (solves problem with running out of nanobots because he can just grow the rest when he looses some) and also he can go ant man and shrink. Thano’s wouldn’t’ve stood a chance.

Tony's arc was completed when he had his daughter. By that point, he understands that preserving the lives of his child and Pepper is more important than preserving his own life. But what got him there was meeting Peter Parker and realizing (to his embarrassment) that despite being younger, Peter was just as brilliant and powerful as Tony, and actually MORE mature than him in terms of his morality. Peter had the power to do great harm, but he always chose to do good. This vexated Tony because Tony can't fully comprehend the idea of "innate goodness." Peter possessed the same moral compass as Captain America. But where Tony had nothing but contempt for the "boy scout" Steve Rogers (mostly because Howard Stark gave Steve his powers,) he has nothing but admiration for the "boy" Peter Parker. Peter demonstrates to Tony the one thing Ironman lacks as a superhero - humility. This begins the last phase of Tony's growth as a person... deconstructing the remnants of the egotistical, self-centered Tony Stark and replacing him with a man who'll give his life to save the universe - which of course he does. Peter looks up to Tony... he desperately wants to be just like him, never realizing that he is actually Tony's teacher. And he's the ONLY PERSON who could be that teacher because Peter is the one and only person that Tony looks up to.
