I stopped my son from saying the word "try". When he was at his lowest point, I noticed that was his favourite word. Till I make him changed & said "I'll do it or yes Its on" changed his life gradually.

Mel, with all due respect, I don't think the word "TRY" is what you're after nearing the end of this interview. According to your Instagram February 22, 2016 says, "I don't believe in "trying". You either DO or you DON'T. I know for a fact that the moment I decide to remove the word "try" from my vocabulary, the odds of me succeeding sky rocket. Try it out!" #melrobbins I totally agree with your Instagram quote. For someone to say, "I'll try." We all know that is a half hearted attempt. To DO, is what makes you courageous. I like that word better. I have done more with that thought process. Thank you, Mel. I'm changing my life one 5 seconds at a time.

One great tool for that is Mel's 5 Second Rule. When you feel yourself getting into that anxious state, count out loud 5..4..3..2..1 and insert an empowering thought. Then just continue by a series of 5 second decisions and you'll build your confidence in no time! Bo
