The concrete pump truck showed up at 5:30 am and the concrete slab was poured and finished by 2:30 pm. It was amazing to watch how they orchestrated this pour, worked together as a team, and finished so quickly... and with total quality. The house slab and concrete front porch turned out incredible. I am so happy I went with the elevated concrete slab foundation and concrete front porch versus a crawlspace and wood decking.
Who We Are: A family building a Ranch from Scratch in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas - Jason, Kristen and our daughter Makayla. We started with just bare land... and built roads, brought in utilities, built a Barndominium for temporary living quarters (future guest house), put up fencing, got some horses and chickens, started a garden, and started our country living. Now we are onto having our main house built, a Modern Farmhouse.
