Düşük debi de topu çekmenin daha mantıklı olduğunu düşünüyorum, öncelik su ,sonrasında 1 top yeterli olur sanırım

You take the rubber hose off because they can have burs or wire exposed and tear up your ball. And you will loose some suction cause it dosent have as good as seal as the pipes that are almost always clamped. Creating a tite seal. Sucking the ball slow or fast makes no differance and one is good butt this guy obviously is paticuler about matinance and cleanlyness .witch is always a good thing . hard ball second the soft one gets the big stuff and the stif gets whats left .if u choose to over clean ur lines .but yes one is enough

The only thing I do different is that you can tell the difference between each ball so you know if both are back.

I appreciate the first part of the clean out being the application of the two sponges but why don't you guys show the coming of the sponge to the ball just before the hopper nobody showing that showing what that looks like and what concrete is clean out the line nobody shows these things 😐

If you are using a 4" tip hose can you leave the tip hose on and just suck the ball thru it

A soft ball yes, a hard ball no, and in saying that, it's a good recipe for leaving buildup in the pipes/elbows as that 5" ball does not expand in quick enough to properly clean the 5' diameter pipeline as it transitions from the 4" hose and taper into the 5' system.

Hi does it matter which ball goes first the soft one or the hard one?

Always suck the hard ball first as it will not distort when sucked back quickly like a medium or soft ball would. Because I suck back in a Z formation it is important that first sponge back at a high volume such that it does not get hung up at the elbow between sections D-E. That first hard ball does probably 90% of the cleaning of the pipes. The 5 gallons and soft/medium sponge give the pipes a nice final rinse but more importantly the flush of water coming back through the S-valve and delivery cylinders makes washing out the hopper much easier. Lots of different ways to do it, but this has been bulletproof consistent and reliable for me.

Curious why you don't have to ping your pipe to make sure your sponge came back and then kill your pump before it cuts your sponge 🤔

My trainer pulls back through the tip hose, we fill the hose up with water then suck back the sponge and it will turn everything in your hopper into a nice wet mix to make washing her out easier

REG jr we pump a lot of high strength architectural mixes. Over the years we’ve had issues with buildup in the deck pipes when sucking just a single sponge. Since switching to using two sponges we’ve had zero issues.

Dude the double sponge suck back sounds so right. We have had issues for lately with 2019 trucks needing maintenance on the boom/deckpipe more frequently and already replaced one truck with a new set up.

If I'm arched out, I'll fill the elbow with water and pull a square sponge and ball back. If I'm Z'd out, I pull the square sponge and ball back, but I raise all the booms so it has gravity helping it. I've seen pump guys not clean very good and it bites them in the rear on the next job.

I never seen an operator suck a ball back with the pump volume on 10 there an chance the ball will leave build up u should have it no higher then 4

Hard ball sucked back at 10 as it does not distort like a soft of medium ball, Also, regardless of speed, the hard ball will hang up for several strokes (fast or slow) and fire back a third of the way through the boom and sit for another few strokes then repeat twice more until its home. Agreed however, soft and/or medium sponges should not be sucked back at full volume unless you're going to suck back a second sponge with water at a slow to moderate pace for final cleaning.

With the hard sponge regardless of volume it is pulled back at, it will sit for a few strokes and then rocket back 1/3rd of the way through the boom and then repeat. Eg: pulling it back at a lower volume will not bring the hard sponge back at slow and controlled pace. Also, the hard sponges do not distort in the same manner as soft and medium sponges do. The hard sponge is pulled back at full volume and is then followed by a medium/soft sponge with a few gallons of water in front of it and pulled back at a pace of one stroke every 5-7 seconds. I completely agree that soft sponges should not be pulled back at full volume, especially if you are only sucking back one of them.
