Out of 1563 , only 790 qualified after grace marks so maybe 200 students will be scoring upto 400 , 200 to 300 upto 500 , 150 to 200 upto 600 , 100 upto 650 , and rest around 70 to 90 students only above 650. This can not be the reason of cutoff which is increased this much .

Very true..Grace marks issue is a relatively minor issue and very conspicuous error. But The biggest problem is the super hike in students scoring high marks. The possibilities are 1. Super Prodigy kids of 2024 2. Super easy paper for a highly competitive exam without any scrutiny 3. Massive paper leakage which enabled major centres to train their good students well practised and well prepared. Now you can all think what is the most logical answer to have 4 times rank inflation all of a sudden in one year against the trends
