Stuttgart Germany 1976. I saw them head up The Rolling Stones. There were 3 other bands and 70,000 people. We lived on a planet with different humans than today. Good times that led to the encroaching darkness of today. I think we were lied to....alot.

Sounds like a good show. I always enjoyed playing in Germany, as well as living there for a while during my childhood.

@@MarkDeutrom I miss it too. 75-80 Stationed in Grossachenhiem, 30 clicks outside Stuttgart. I always wanted to go back. I hear the wall coming down ruined everything. I'm 66 and probably wont get to see it again anyways. The food tho. (:

She was super cool. We also went to see Deep Purple, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, and Andres Segovia !

Seems like it would have been great, but Bolin was definitely buggy in some way. I also saw the Deep Purple/Montrose/Nazareth show 3 months earlier in the same place, and he was better at that one.

Awesome! l was -5 when that show took place, but l definitely Iike some Robin Trower. Remember to stay high until you die as you said in that one interview around 30 years ago 😄(l know you were just joking obviousIy)

Check your Robin Trower History. The cover shot of Robin Trower Live was from The Oakland Collisuem gig 1975 Tour "day on The Green" festival The cover shot used on this album was from a show at the Oakland Colliseum 8/3/1975 called "Day On The Green"....

Thanks for the correction ! Sun Devil looks somewhat similar but it was almost 50 years ago.

Man, I'd LOVE to see Robin Trower. I did get to see REO Speedwagon, though. The band was fine, but Kevin Cronin WOULD NOT shut up between songs. Really made the whole thing miserable.

Lots of talk about underrated, this and underrated that, but James Dewar was such a special singer and most people don’t even know his name. I suppose his subdued stage presence didn’t make him stand out enough. I do think quite a few people know the songs though

Absolutely. I feel privileged I got to hear the classic trio in concert a couple of times. Those first 5 lps are great ! The tune Long Misty Days might even be the peak of that group in the studio.
