SONG REVIEWS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE! Please keep that in mind before you consider becoming a 'Baphomet' supporter. I had to stop making reviews because they harm the channel since people aren't very interested in them. Too bad, it was fun. But even I gotta kneel before the algorithm (aka the audience) sometimes. The upcoming few reviews are already paid. Cheers.

It's unfortunate that you've got to stop. I enjoyed them and liked several of the bands/songs you reviewed. It's a shame that videos must be made based on what gets viewers instead of what the creator wants to make.

Started day drinking and was really confused when Farvann started speeding up his audio at 2x cause I swore I was listening to YT at 1x speed. I was right, but that threw me for a loop there for a few seconds.

I'm glad that black metal overall went the more Varg / atmospheric route and Euronymous' vision for black metal didn't become the norm. There's nothing wrong with raw black metal, but the genre as a whole has a lot of room for variety and it's nice that I can find a black metal album I've never heard of and often times get blind-sided by a riff, melody or instrument I was not expecting. I especially like the more folk side of black metal like Ungfell, Nokturnal Mortum and early Borknagar, because you have no damn clue what you're getting into. It's chaotic at one point and then next track you might get something that sounds like it was ripped straight out of Middle Earth.

I hate people who comment only to say how much they dislike something, so, I won't say a bad thing about this person's band. He's making music. Wtf. It's hard.

The reason why the song somewhat sounded "uplifting" is because it has some post-black metal/blackgaze themes in (which is why those were tagged in Bandcamp). I think the music is okay since it doesn't try to take away too much on the atmospheric black metal stuff in general.

It's Funk in the beginning! 😂No kidding. It's like he just used Dorian mode pattern and that's why it sounds so "happy". Very unique combination and interesting to hear. Thank you for showing us. Fun fact: There also is a song called "Dorian" by Demons & Wizards (with Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian). kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYGDusOMf6W2gpc.html -> At 2min 18sec this "Dorian" song uses the same accords which you can hear in the beginning of the song you showed us (1:01). Because of the funky "Dorian". Fascinating, isn't it? ;D

Around 6 mins when u said the buildup riff was boring, i feel like it would sound better if it was played without tremolo and then go back to tremolo when the real riff starts.
