I went to the Guiness brewery there in Dublin in 2008 and still remember everything that was shown in the video. I also remember that your tour ticket got you a free drink at the end of the tour. The bar at the end of the tour had Guinness in addition to non-alcoholic drinks but what really got me was the fact that you could get a Bud Light or a Fosters. Who the hell comes to Dublin, goes on the Guiness tour and then decides to have a Bud Light? 😂

I dearly miss watching Conan's show. I wish he was still doing it. He is the absolute funniest human being and always has me in stitches. Maybe one day he'll return but at least he's doing his podcast!

By far my all time favorite field short they've done, mostly because of the memories tied to it. Sure, it's hilarious watching Conan struggle to finally get a pint, but this was aired the night after I moved across the country to be with my then fiance, now best friend/brother. He never watched Conan and I was coming down from jet lag and the anxious excitement of what I just did, so this was a chance for me to relax and laugh while also trying to show him stuff I enjoyed. We were cracking up so hard throughout this whole sketch. He fell in love with the show and I had finally felt relieved after such a crazy day. I'll always come back to this when I really need a smile. Thank you, Coco. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

My favorite beer hands down. And I say that coming from a family of Corona and Heineken drinkers. My dad went to Dublin on a business trip in the late '90s and he described the pint like drinking a chocolate milkshake. I MUST make a pilgrimage to this magical place. God bless the Irish!

It really is a very cool place to visit, the view from that bar at night is gorgeous. I studied in Dublin for a year and loved every minute of it.

I can so relate to Conan. I visited the Guinness Brewery and the Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin because I had spent all my money in pubs and I wanted free drinks for my hangover... Instead I learned all about the making of the stuff I wanted to drink while trying not to puke.

OneTwoMark There's a lot of plastic Paddies around these days for sure. My great great great (etc) grandfather was on the Mayflower when it came to Plymouth, in fact -- he was an Irish indentured servant who stowed away to escape his sentence, got caught by the Puritans when they were halfway across the Atlantic, and was kept in irons the whole trip. True story.

Calvin Maynard There's ginger guys on my dad's side. Infact, he traced some of his family back to Ireland, i often forget that. But i don't see myself as Irish. lol

I like how the dude asks Conan to look at the horizon as he's looking at the drink himself while taking a sip.

Just noticed the Brew master wasn't looking at the horizon when he drank his Guinness. He aint no real man.

Ha! Awesome. I've taken that tour and it's a bit longer than I expected. Like Conan, I just wanted to get upstairs and enjoy a pint.

Do not try to visit the brewery.The only thing you will remember is standing in line.Go to a pub and meet some great Irish people and have a few drinks.

I did both. The Guinness Brewery tour was okay. Many of the people on the tour were from the other parts of Europe and the US. It's a tourist spot and brings in revenue for Dublin. Yes, you're correct about the pub. We started at the Brazen Head....and added my dollar to it's wall. We later hit a few other spots. Spent the next few weeks circling the country in a rental car. Each night a new pub and new friends....except County Wexford. We had so much fun with the folks we met, we stayed and extra night. Ireland is a beautiful country and I was sorry to have to leave. I'm looking to return next year. I can't wait.

Darth Irish Problem? Reread what I wrote. I spent an extra night because I was having fun. I stayed at a B&B and met some nice folks at the pub downstairs and we chatted, and drank Guinness all night then had breakfast in the morning. I had planned on leaving that afternoon but decided to stay an extra night because they were all staying as well. We met up again that second night and in the morning. Also, imagine my surprise when I seen there was a JFK celebration going on. I thought JFK may have meant something else in Ireland but sure enough, they were celebrating John F Kennedy and family around the Dombrode (sp?) ship. To think I only decided to stay there because I couldn't find a place to stay in Waterford. It was a nice hidden gem.

I went here in 2019 and it was one of the best experiences ever! I want to go back to Ireland!
