    I am Italian, born, raised and living in Italy. Gotta say 2 things. First, impressed and flattered by Jordan's knowledge and appreciation about my country. Number 2, at min 5:50 when Conan put ketchup on that meat, my heart stopped. So I am writing this in my ghost form now.

    fallon isnt even a real talk show host let alone an actual comedian, hes just a corporation puppet w high funding. ill admit the fallon era has had its moments (eg the rock lip synching shake it) but none of it has been his material; doesnt matter if the show was hosted by Amy Schumer or an actual outhouse turdlet, the highlights of the show have been the parts that had nothing to do w that dead eyed stand-in placeholder.

    I just visited Cortona today with my family. I went to the restaurant Jordan loves and it’s true he has a desert named after him. It’s so cool. There is also an autographed photo of Conan inside. The town is amazing I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Tuscany!

    It's hard to say so evidently. Yes, it maybe a proper manner in high end restaurant, it's not demanded. As a customer, you also have a right to choose whether to follow the way the meal is served, or to edit it in your favor. That is your right as a guest, as how to present the food is the right for chef. That's not disrespecting the chef and the restaurant.

So wether they need to contact and book the guests, locations, etc. All are handled by Jordab (and probably other producers and assistants).

    Yeah...I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there. Because Conan isn’t with Samantha brown or Rick Steves. THAT would be someone who’s passionate about travel or a particular culture. Jordan basically tries to construct this narrative that portrays him as worldly and cultured and that he’s Italian, instead of being from New Jersey. And then he treats Conan like he’s dumb because he isn’t already intently aware of every facet of something he’s just experiencing right then. It’s funny because Conan has a sense of humor and Jordan is the driest man on earth.

    Brandon Lozano normally with fine dining, you don't want to season food when the chef had pre seasoned it. Also to use ketchup on on a fine steak might seem like an insult. To me, it's whatever. If you like ketchup on your steak and you're paying for it, go right ahead.

    The authenticity around it is really wonderful. I like when he matter of fact said that this was his experience he was sharing and it may not be exactly what you like, but at least it will be experienced the way it was meant to be. They make it come across a little cross, but I admire his unwillingness to make his favorite restaurant a charade.

You are a guest to that region and whether or not you're paying for the things provided to you, it is your obligation out of respect to follow the cultural norms of that country. Therefore when traveling to Italy, whether you like it or not, you do not put ketchup on a well prepared dish, you eat it as it was prepared for you and show a little respect to the people and the culture of the region.

    I had to skip the bit with the ketchup. That hurt me too. I'm Australian but my father was Italian and while we had a few Australian things in the house such as Vegemite and cheddar cheese we NEVER had tomato sauce (what we call ketchup). To put that on Italian food really is sacrilege.

    I love how much more of a human Jordan feels like in these Italy videos. He smiles and laughs, and seems warmer as a person. Perhaps Italy DOES bring out the best of him. Also, best Curb meme at the end.

    I think Jordan is all life and alive when he is in Italy, he is seen talking proactively, smiling, and displays actual human emotions on his face and make us realise that he isn't an AI or an Alien. Thanks Conan for making Jordan smile. 😄
