It's not that he doesn't know how to smile or laugh, but he doesn't do it like neurotypical people (source: my partner is autistic). They learn to mirror other's reactions to fit into society. If someone else smiles, they smile back, if people laugh, they will learn to laugh with them (source: my partner's behavioral therapy)

I think it's because it's his first appearance with Conan so he was just being his true self. Through the years you can see him develop a more heightened version of himself that's more stoic and less emotional on camera. I agree though, there's no such thing as a bad Jordan video.

Sadly it can hardly happen. Only Conan can handle him. Everybody else gave me an inpression that they didn't wanna talk to him in Inside Conan Podcast. Even what Conan manages to put out is out of a bit of a struggle, I think. Otherwise they would have him as a guest all the time cause he's always demanded by people.

I love Jordan! He's such an interesting unique and unintentionally hilarious person. I find it great how he seizes life, owns who he is and doesn't seem fazed when Conan pokes at his quirkiness or teases him savagely. I only wish more people were that confident and chill. I'm going to miss the skits and segments he would do with Conan.

Indeed. Rush is the best band ever. This Chip Whitley dude has no reason to mock it.

I really enjoy these two together. Thank you for posting this it was a welcome break from pandemic parenting.

I can't even with Jordan. I'm so happy he exists and that this dynamic exists. He's obviously amazing at his job or he wouldn't still be there, and he obviously has a great sense of humor or he wouldn't. Still. Be there. I want new Conan/Jordan content like yesterday.
