They're intelligent guys who react without meanness but with natural disdain. The guy is clearly detached and not socially well-adapted. There is probably some underlying cause. For the context of him working for the comedian, Conan, Jordan serves his purpose.

daisy jordan isn’t actually like this in real life, he’s playing a very over-exaggerated version of himself. if you look into it a little more you’ll find videos of him laughing and talking and acting like you would expect a normal person would. there was this video where conan and jordan were in italy on a train having a conversation and in it jordan was laughing and talking, which is super unlike his character on coco.

They still use the same picture of Jordan whenever he's introduced.
