Completely agree. To be honest, I have always felt this about Conan’s TV show. The guests spoil it, quite frankly.

Conan and Sona both immediately leaving Matt out to dry on the shower massage bit is a perfect example of how tune those two have been for their entire friendship hahaha.

They really hung Gourley out to dry when he mentioned shower heads and Hitachis, cause he’s 100% right

Conan! In case you somehow see this -- in the summer of 2001(?), my friends and I bumped into you in a Taco Bell in Westchester County (in the parking lot of a movie theater) on a Fri night as you were headed away for the weekend (with I believe your now wife). We all joked about the food, and you were extremely gracious and friendly, taking photos with each of us. It was such a nice run-in, and 20 years later, this episode brought that distant memory back. I just hope the tacos didn't destroy your weekend away.

I once watched a documentary about how snack foods are developed. They were creating a "combo-like" extruded snack & they isolated the chemical that gives cheddar cheese it's flavor. Because the chemical occurs in nature, they were able to label it as "natural flavor"

Natural Flavors are bad bad news. There is zero oversight or regulations as to what the companies can mix together to create the "flavor." Our chemist at work showed us and broke it down for us, and the companies can literally put anything, and I mean anything, in the product to create the flavor.

I went to get Combos immediately after watching this, but the Store was sold out. Conan is excellent at hawking products he is not even asked to promote. Combos stock must have gone up 1000% after the release of this episode.

seriously, if Combos paid them an ad to do, it wouldn't have as good of an effect than Combos getting mentioned in a casual unscripted conversation between those 3.

It's a great Combos opening and the fact that your producer was irritated, made it funnier.
