Hey Mikey Pipes, Love your videos! I'm a fresh-out-of-college HVAC technician apprentice working in a company up here in the great white north of Canada. Even though I studied for 3 years and got my G2, I'm still utterly lost when it comes to service technician work. But thanks to your videos and my boss giving me a chance, everything is slowly starting to click together. I just want to say thank you for going through everything, explaining every piece and its functions, getting right up close with the camera, and overall being a heck of a teacher. Honestly, I wish I had learned about your channel when I was still studying HVAC in college. I don't know where I'm going to end up in the HVAC field; automatic controls, chiller service technician work, or hydronic. But wherever I end up, I want to thank you now, and every other experienced technician, for sharing your knowledge and experience through these videos. You're helping us clueless new guys find our way around this very complex trade.

the problem with replacing the connector that's burnt until it failed, is the pins on the compressor have been cooked very hot, with seals possibly ready to fail/leaking and the pins were overheated, once overheated they're oxidized and impossible to clean and will have resistance to the new plug (at run current), causing it to melt down pretty fast again. judging by the wires, that connector has already been replaced before, due to it melting down and it did it again. so they knowingly got rid of it to some sucker...
