Very informative. Thanks for taking the time to share. Just recently bought my first slingshot - one of the kits from Amazon - only shot clay ammo so far, as I'm trying to get the hang of it, and don't want to wreck my back garden by firing steel all over the shop. I had no idea there were so many variables involved. The bands that came with catty are also really long, but decided to just practice for a few weeks before making any alterations. Again, a big thanks from Bonnie Scotland.

they do, in fact, work great for clay.. But SO SLOW for steel

i just got some .4 simple shot black in the mail today. I'm curious how it will stack up to my .4 sniper sling yellow. Those amber bands are crazy, guess you get what you pay for...

The SimpleShot .5 is my favorite bands right now. Super consistent last a long time, and they have pretty good speeds. SniperSling Yellow .5 are a close second.
