The instruction manual for explaining how Snape is supposed to kill Dumbledore was absolutely amazing. I know some people don't like the fact the cutscenes don't have dialogue but honestly the funny ways the developers got around it is hilarious

Order of the Phoenix gets easily the most content out of any book/film in the game, yet despite adapting the shortest film in the series and giving it the most content, it still feels like it’s missing more than any other entry adapted in the series.

Years 5-7 was my favorite Lego game. All the Weasley boxes you'd go and open, more exploration of Hogwarts Grounds, and open world London. Keep up the great work!

Some of the cutscenes in these games were hilarious and had me laughing through the whole playthrough. I liked how these Lego Harry Potter games would incorporate some of the bits from the books as well as the films. If you didn't run over the professor with the car...did you even play these games properly?? xD Awesome video Flandrew, looking forward to the next ones :)

the way they handled the story in these games is so bizarre sometimes, like the segment with Snape and Harry in the park which you covered, don't get me wrong sometimes its funny and i enjoyed playing these games, its just weird sometimes lol

I own the Vita version. Really stupid that they didn't port the console version, and instead *slightly upgraded the Psp version. The Vita was definitely capable of running the console version.

Indeed. And this is unironically one of the (many) reasons why I went with the 3DS instead. I loved the LEGO games and wanted a handheld that could play the console versions, just like the PSP used to until LEGO Indy 2. Unfortunately, the Vita didn't, and they were the same versions as the PSP and 3DS; so I'm glad I ultimately got the less expensive 3DS instead.

The lighting in years 5-7 is better but.... worse somehow.

I remember playing the DS version of Years 5-7 and being disappointed over how derivitive it was of the console version while removing some levels. Sure, the dueling minigame was cool, but the hub felt smaller than Years 1-4.

I’m very nostalgic for the 3DS version. I got it shortly after getting my 3DS and I remember playing it a lot. I did eventually get the game on Xbox 360, and it is superior in my opinion, but i’ll always have a soft spot for the 3DS version.

​@@professorbaxtercarelessdre1075 The first theory is likely correct, since they didn't start having voice actors for Lego games until LEGO Lord of the Rings, which it uses sound bites from the trilogy, but voiced LEGO games had been around since the 90's starting with LEGO Island, and kinda stopped at LEGO Star Wars.
