The words we use in Sudan: Cat = Kadeesa Lighter = Wala3a Excuse me = 3an eznak/law sama7ta Nose = nakhara Mouth = Khashom (confusing, i know) Fly = dobanah (with the letter 'daad' Mosquita = namoosah (I think)

In Egypt we say "Marchadere", comes from marche arriere xD

Lebanese alternative for remote, we call it controll in some areas(mostly around Beirut and khaldeh)

Hello guys! Thank you some much for these videos! Here in Brazil, in some parts of the country we have the word "bichano" (male)/ "bichana" (female) for cat, very similar with "besseyne". I read it cames from the hebrew "beshaneh", wich literally means to be one year old, meaning puppy. We also have the diminutives forms "chaninho" (male) and "chaninha" (female), this last one also a colloquial term for "vagina".

I studied my Arabic from Jordan yeah they do sound more manlier to me than other Arabic accent kinda same like Hamza style(Iraqi)...bcos of their natural Tafhemتفخيم while speaking. Oh ive been missing Mansaf especially Mnsaf Karak 🇯🇴

My family is from south Lebanon and I basically felt like my arabic is a mix of palestinian and lebanese pronunciations. Except we do say mahdoum. And we say a3assa for mosquito

i am also from south lebanon, i also noticed that we have a lot of similarities with palestinians in the way we speak, like "ish" to express negation, or certain expressions (like biss waleh at 1:09, Maalesh, bihemesh at 3:15 )

5:00 it was believed to originate from the days the East India Company used Basra as a port between Egypt and India. They would buy rice in India and ration it into sacks, whch they would load onto ships to be stored in Basra's warehouses. The Iraqis saw the Indian workers carry the sacks on their shoulders. The sacks read "For Ten Men Only" as each sack is for 10 men's rations. Iraqis only saw the "Ten Men" part of the sack so they started calling it Ten Men , then Temmen.

For “Go away” in Palestinian we also say: enesref, et2alla3, ed7al, 2abe3, toj, etsarraf, ene2le3, 2al3a te2la3ak, roo7, da7del, etda7dal, teer (fly😂), 2al3a to5dak, emeshe (walk😂), etsahal/etyassar/etwakkal (go “saftely” - sarcastically), ta2e3, et2a3 and any combination you want of these and/or with “men hoon” (from here) or “men wejhe” (from my face) and/or curses and/or 7el 3anni, fek 3anni, 7el 3an teze (leave my ass alone😂), fek 3an teze, etla3 men kossi (get out of my vagina 😂), etla3 men jelde (get out of my skin), etrekne b7ali, 3ef 3anni (no idea what 3ef means😂), 7el 3an 2eri (leave my dick alone 😂), 7el 3an samay (leave my sky/heaven alone) 7el 3an allah (leave god alone 😂😂) (basically “7el/3ef/fek 3an” anything) For example: roo7 enesref men hoon, 2al3a te2la3ak, wa7ad wati!! 7el 3an samay, yaa! Welak teer men wejhe(fly from my face 😂), ed7al yabn (ya ebn) el-kalb! Oof 3aleena, etla3 men kossi, 2araftna yaa! (All this means “go away”) You can also make up phrases that go with the Palestinian vibe such as “ejrak wel taree2” meaning your foot and the street(path) which means you have your foot and you have the path (to your home) so walk in the path and go away 😂 I might have just made it up (is it real?) but it sounds so real 😂😂

hi, I am from Palestine, the Mosquito Maha mentioned as Ares (آرِص) I never heard before in Gaza, we say Ba'odha (بعوضة) just like in Fusha.... in all 3 videos, you did not mention (Parsley), Iv'e heard 2 versions of it in different Arabic accents, and wished to know your version whether it's Bagdonis, or Ma'danoos.

In Palestinian we also say for excuse me can you something something: “benf3 something something? Ghallabtak ma3i...” (Is it possible for you to something something? Sorry for making you “struggle” / bothering you with my issue...) The answer would be “ghalabtak ra7a” (struggling for you is comfort/relaxation) / “3a rase w 3ene” (on my head and on my eyes) / “men 3yooni” (from my eyes) / “wala yhemak” (don’t worry about it, I’ll take care of it) / “tekram” (I don’t know how translate this one and make sense haha, but it’s about generosity) This is just so beautiful and shows how much love for one another (even strangers) we have and how much we care for others and would help anyone and everyone ❤️

I'm Lebanese and I say Maalesh for don't worry. Bil 'izin Ma Twajhenzi for excuse me. Moukayef for air conditioner also.

حرف الشين المضاف الى اخر الكلمات في اللهجات العربيه هو من تأثير اللغه التركيه معليه صارت معلش بيهم صارت بيهمش مافي صارت مافيش كلمات اصلها تركي خش دش كما انه أيضا حرفh الذي يستخدم في دول الخليج و بعض بلاد الشام اصله من اللغه التركيه.

No! We don't say 'to hell' 'Illa jahanam' when you're telling someone to clear off. Drooh / Ruh Ietkesah Dimshee minaa / Imshee Hel Anni These are just examples of impolite terms for telling folk to go away in Iraqi, there's sure to be more regional variations. ' Jahanam' or 'Bijhanam el hamra' means ' serves you right' , it doesn't mean 'go away'.

Falestine and Lebanon they sound a bit similar but Iraqi is way different ❤❤
