Shopping for a 4Runner currently, these videos are so freaking helpful.

Hi Jeff and all. Thank you for your work in putting these videos together and uploading. Movie guess was it a Bruce Willis movie? Both of these vehicles are a great choice. I live in an area with hills and would prefer the 4x4 awd. I think my driving skills are almost on par with Cole Trickle. My lap times in our 11 Siena would be front page news. That's all I'm thinking I need too. I'm not going to be driving up a mountain just through areas with dirt/ unpaved roads and upstate NY snow.

I wish I didn’t live in ct at times like this. I’m looking for a 4runner. Doing my research while waiting for my uncles estate to go through probate. I want a trd pro but the sticker scares me. When the time comes maybe I’ll take the drive down and grab one. This guy makes me smile with every video I see.

Serial 4Runner owner here. Have the 2021 TRD in silver along with 2016 Trail. Had a 2014 Trail before it. 4Runners from 2020-onwards have the black lettering option which is the case with the TRD off road.

I traded in my 19’ SR5P for a 20’ TRD ORP because of the manual transfer case, that the TRD has. An SR5 with a manual stick 4WD lever would be my dream 4Runner

I have the sr5 premium, in short if you must have 3rd row, go with sr5 premium since that is the only one comes with 3rd row otherwise go with trd. Never buy 4x2 4runner.

One tiny difference that I like alot is the interior black trip on the off road compared to the silver on the SR5 premium

2021 standard led headlights about time

I have a 2021 SR5 premium- can you explain the auto headlight system? I see there’s an auto high beam button, but also if you turn the lights on and push the control arm forward it brings “auto” on. Does this car have true auto headlights or just auto-off

I thought the mirrors that had directional indicators also had puddle lights pointing down under them.. is this only on a different trim level. I cannot find the info on the Toyota site. If you have time please clarify this ..please ! Great compare here !

I hope toyota would put a V6 engine with 8 spd AT in a 4runner for better gas mileage. same engine use in tacoma, highlander etc.

My vote: 4 Runner TRD Premium with KDSS and sunroof in white.

Not a fan of the 2 tone 4runner interiors. I have a 2019 TRD ORP and I simply feel the all black seems more premium. The 2 toned 4runner just appears more dated. Wish I had the 2020 infotainment though. Also, my 19 has 2 USB ports in the center console for the back seats. I don't know how, but it does

TRD off road has tons of off-road features, but most will only use few times.

Can you answer the impossible to answer question about 4Runner suspensions. Does the TRD Off Road have a different suspension than the SR5? Some say absolutely yes. Some say absolutely no. Can you definitively answer this question? Specifically are the spring rates the same? Are the struts tuned the same? There are tons of comparison videos on all the cosmetic and convenience features but NOTHING on the suspension. Please no more videos on badging, leather wrapped steering wheels, and USB ports. Can you please answer this age old question? Thanks
