Damn this car saved my life from a collision. I had it only for 10 days since buying it till i got rear ended. I span and rolled over. Walk away with one small scratch. Will be buying it again in a few days.

Was it a strong rear end impact, did your steering wheel airbag and in the airbags deploy?

@@rrange yes it was. I rolled over multiple times and landed on the freeway concrete center divider on my side then flip the car back to its position. The airbags on the windows saved my life. The airbag on the steering wheel didnt activate cause its not a head on collision. The witness that help me thought i was dead and the cop that responded said it was a miracle i survived that accident. Its been like 8 months since the accident and im still afraid to go the freeway and still has anxiety from it. Now im driving the same model but i got the premium one 😊

Loving my ‘21 awd sonic silver CX-30!!! Traded in my soul red ‘18 Mazda 6 GT for this! I went down a trim level to the “select” trim and couldn’t be happier!! Beginning of this year I moved to the mountains and the CX-30 drives and handles like a dream up here in the mountains! I also love the black cladding that 99% of people complain about! She’s a beautiful ride, practical and fun!! 💞

My wife just picked up a 2021 select in that pearl white. It is awesome. Only negative for me is the sound system, wonder if you can get the Bose system installed at the dealership?

@@marzzgli1278 I know right????? I miss my Bose sound system too!!!!! I’m sure they can change it out to the Bose system, but I bet it won’t be cheap.... I’m curious now too! If you find out let me know lol. I just knew she’d love it!!!! Did you guys get the AWD??? I’m so happy for you guys!! It’s my fav vehicle to date....I like it better than a the Lexus I had years ago! Lol

It’s FWD, we are in SoCal and she’s not a big mountain person so no real need for AWD. She just got out of a 2018 VW Tiguan, the Mazda is way nicer. A bit smaller but other than that it nicer in every way.

@@marzzgli1278 Very cool! I’m in SoCal too! San Bernardino National Forest! It snowed about 1-1.5 feet up here recently so I was glad to have gotten the AWD! I don’t blame her then, no need for AWD if not up here often. I just love the CX-30 too!!

I love it! Just test drove one today sport utility and preferred in Miami. I got the preferred. Also, I have family in Enterprise. 🙂

I love my CX-30 preferred AWD. 1 week later and I still can’t wait to drive every morning

A base model with six airbags is damn good and gorgeous looking. But I may go to two trim above for extra safety features and Bose sound system. But the base model is already a great car.👍👍👍

It is a great car, at a great price. I may have misspoke...it actually has 8 airbags. We actually sold more of these in the 2020 model because of price and availability. It is only $23,000

This might be a weird request but could you speak on the white interior for Mazda. How well does it hold up, how well does it stain and how easy is it to clean. I’ve been a fan of white interior but but been too chicken to option it.

Yes, I’m waiting to have more trims for the 21 CX5. I just have Touring and GT right now.

getting today the CX-30 FWD Select trim, best Bang for ur Buck$ 🧐😎🆗🤳🏼 Sadly could not got it. Still looking for it thinking to get the AWD , hope we can now. Help Jonathan 🙇🏻‍♂️🆗

My only concern with the CX30 is rear visibility; it's not very good, IMO. Nice comparison. Thanks.

Most of these small crossovers have the same problem.

I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these in Thailand. I'm only a few minutes in but in your opinion for a relatively new driver what model would you go for? and which colour do you like? The new platinum looks pretty cool but the dark grey stands out too or all black.

I almost traded in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek for this. But decided to keep my trek. It comes with standard awd, roof rails, 8.7 inches of ground clearance. I'm pretty much your typical subie driver, camping, hiking, outdoors stuff.

I’m still waiting for a Mazda3 in Gray. I currently have two blacks and white.

My sister is looking to trade her Cx-3 touring in for one these. She’s looking at the Select trim but the only issue is the leatherette seats aren’t heated like in her cx-3. She doesn’t want to spend more on the preferred (doesn’t want a sunroof). Not sure why Mazda didn’t add heated seats to this trim? I think most people shopping this trim would prefer those over the upgraded 18 inch wheels.

Is the pin stripping standard? Been seeing it on all the models.

The Preferred adds the moonroof.

Ok, thanks for the reply and the great review. Because of it my wife and I picked up a 2021 Select in that pearl white. Nice little CUV. She was in a 2018 VW Tiguan and the CX 30 is so much nicer.

tbh the only ones to consider are the select and premium. other 2 trims aren't worth

I don’t recall any wireless charging except for the console accessory you can add to any trim.

What trim has auto dimming mirror?

None of these include it, you can add accessory. The premium Turbo models have it.

I have 2 days left to return the 2021 CX-30 Premium that I just bought where I live. There’s a low audible beep that keeps coming on with no display information in dash or windshield. It’s very faint sounding when driving all speeds. No idea what it is detecting or telling. Please help us! I am hoping you might know or have heard this too with your Mazda experience.

Is it a rumble noise, like from the lane departure. Or more like a beep chirp?

@@JSS It’s a very faint sounding beep/chirp. Just comes on when it wants to. The Mazda dealership turned off lane departure and radar. The beep still comes on. To me it seems to be coming on way more when at low speeds and turns are involved.

@@JSS I got an update today from my local Mazda dealership service team. They have pinpointed the sound alert beep/chime to the Mazda Navigation while the card is in the SD slot and not even displaying Mazda NAV on the infotainment screen. If the NAV card is taken out, there is no beeping alert. They are talking to Mazda directly and will continue to resolve the error and will keep the car until next week for now.

That cheap-looking thick black plastic cladding won't age well in the elements. That is the first thing that I notice when I see fairly-new SUV's with all that black plastic in parking lots. For the CX-30, the Select trim looks to be the sweet spot trim (IMO).

I've had three different people (tallest being 6 feet even) sit in the back of mine during some trips and no one has complained about any lack of space. Granted, this is anecdotal. My Mom is one of these people have a tough time finding comfort in a car as it is. She surprisingly said it was comfortable.

2.0 engine on the base model, not 2.5.

I would hope mazda offers cash off and Mazda deals with customers. I don't pay MSRP. An inflated price for max profit. To sell me a vehicle a deal must be obvious to me.
