I'm russian native speaker. And only after watching this video I realised how difficult russian is for non-native speakers learners. I really sorry guys for russian language. Don't give up ;)

Да, и ещё. Некоторые об этом даже не задумываются, но слово "Здравствуйте" имеет смысл. То есть это не простое приветствие в духе "Привет", а именно пожелание здоровья (От "Здравие" - устаревшая форма слова "Здоровье"). Соответственно, это слово имеет форму обращения и к единственному числу - "Здравствуй", то бишь, "Не болей, не умирай и т. д.". Это так, к слову :)

There is a mistake, Kris. "To say hello" is "ЗдоровАться" in Russian, not "ЗдоровИться".

Крис ты ещё забыл сказать про сокращённый вариант "здрасьте". Потому что русские люди редко говорят полностью фразу "здравствуйте!", это слишком долго))

V Sov, по идеи нет такого слово "здрасьте". Не надо приучать людей подобным образом говорить. Пускай это слово они запомнят, чтобы понимать бескультурных людей.

Здоровый = big, strong, tough, Здоровее видали = you can meet this phrase in russian (it's like when somebody showing off, and you saying that youre not that tough, youre not best in the world), Будь здоров = bless you, sometimes means good like здоровая идея = not the healthy idea it's mean good idea it's like you said great or cool, also sometimes we say здоров как бык = healthy as a bull.

Зравствуйте (proper formal) = Greetings Sir/Ma'am Здрасте (proper simple or respectful-disrespectful) = Howdy Здраствуй (personal familiar) = Hello Здарова (personal informal) = Hi/Yo/Sup (Я Вас) Приветствую (proper formal) = Greetings Sir/Ma'am Привет (personal familiar) = Hey/Hi Зравья Желаю (very formal / military use) = Literally means wishing good health. All forms are sex-neutral so you don't have to worry about suffixes/endings.

I answer like "Да", "Да, алло!" or "Да, привет!", if I know who is it 😊 Some people says only "Привет!" (if it's you friend). Some people says (often in business) "Да, я вас слушаю".

Heey, the word поздороваться, tbh you saying it as поздоровиться and it isn't completely right. But it's very cool how you can speak sounding like a native and I should probably have written it in russian 😇

pawn = пешка, knight = конь (horse), queen = ферзь, bishop = слон (elephant yeah i know this sounds weird but we call them this way i'm 100% sure), rook = ладья, king = король, check = шах, checkmate = мат (or sometimes we say шах и мат)

@@CubanCubeFan have no idea what the f*** is Ладья mean :D maybe it's old russian or whatever nobody use this word in russia outside chess, and it's definitely not a tower, ups just flashed in mind it's kind of a boat, not so popular one.

Никто не говорит тост "На здоровье!" или "За здоровье!", это голливудское изобретение. Такие тосты звучат "Будем здоровы!" или "Чтобы все были здоровы!"

You should talk more about literal meaning.

"ПоздоровАлся", не "ПоздоровИлся". Пардон за исправление :) И, кстати, "Здорово" (даже для приветствия), а не "Здорова".

Крис, привет! У тебя очень сильная ошибка в произншении, которая меняет смысл всего слова. Ты сказал : " Он вошёл и поздоровИлся". ( He came in and said how he was feeling). Надо говорить : " Он вошёл и поздоровАлся". Мне не здоровИтся - I don't feel well.

Крис, здорóво! I'm sorry my friend. I made a mistake. The word "нездоровится" is spelled together. Honestly, I didn't know that... "Мне нездоровится." The fact(?!) is that in modern Russian the verb "здоровится" does not exist. Although it is a verb ... Какое правило В русском языке глагол с частицей «не» пишется в большинстве случаев раздельно. Основным исключением из этого правила являются слова, которые без «не» теряют смысл. Поскольку слово «здоровится» в современном русском языке отсутствует, то глагол(!) «нездоровится» всегда нужно писать слитно. Примеры предложений: "Князю сегодня нездоровится, хотя еще вчера он был на охоте." "Пете всегда нездоровится дома утром, когда в школе днем его ждет диктант."

Oh and looks like you confused the natives with your spelling mistake. ЗдAрова != ЗдОрово. One of the most common mistakes in Russian for even for native speakers. I used to make them all the time. Good way to check is to know your roots/word origins. Здарова (technically improper Russian) is from Здравствуй. ЗдОрово is from вздор = hype/excitement.
