The fact that he could actually drive it to you after boost spiking to 23 PSI is a credit to the Barra. He was probably fanging that everywhere when he bought it

Whats the best results you have managed to get out of a stock xr6 turbo. Best iv done was a f6 408hp stock 490hp after a tune 525hp with a new dump pipe to remove catalytic converter on a mainline prohub.
I have the same car done approx 180,000kms. Everything runs fine except for the fact that when it is cold(first start everyday) it will not start unless some hot water is poured over the ECU... then it will start first pop everytime. Any ideas?
How much power would you say is dangerous on stock internals in an FG turbo?
