How did you manage to make it work for me it does not work for me and I tried with dosbox and a real machine the ones before this one work without problems where do i get it

Can't really tell the solution if I don't know the issue or what it does. I had no troubles running it in DOSBox.

@@IS4Retro but now it tells me the music cannot be played insufficient memory I am in real ms-dos and a clone of sb16 that would be already enable the expanded memory

There is a source code of thouse mods? I would love to know how such game engine looks likr

The main part of the mod, i.e. the patches, is stored in a text file which could be simply viewed to see how it works. Most of it simply changing the values in the memory at specific addresses after the original game is loaded.

I don't really have that much time on my hands to go through every recording and cut every part I am in the menu, frame-perfect, and keep the audio synced at the same time. I sure wish the game had a quicksave feature though!

They made nine of these games?! 😮

@@pentiummmx2294 Then it's most likely an issue with ckpatch, not the actual mod. It does work in DOSBox though.

Lowers the volume of the sounds, leaves the permanent, annoying music loud.

@@IS4Retro Oh, it's you! I've seen you change a setting, and the sound effects lowered in volume, while the music stayed the same. I can dig the moment out, if you want to? I was sure I saw the same option for the music, too.

@@solsticeprojekt1937 Keen games only have two settings for music, either no music or a music. It is not possible to change the volume of the music other than turning it off completely.

I stopped watching because all the time you interrupt the game to open the menu and keep recording and reading, this is very annoying, it breaks the dynamics of the game.

What's the point of your video if you're constantly load and save? You can win even without saving. If you do it once or twice it's ok but not constantly.

The last boss is too annoying.
