Comic Book Storage
Here is my version of comic book storage. I got really enthusiastic to build my own when I first saw Chris Faulkner video a few years ago and finally last summer I decided to give it a try and here they are.

Well done! You are right about the drawer slides. Better to use the more expensive ones. They pull out farther than the ones I used and are strong enough.

Nice job! I like how you designed them to be modular. They will be much easier to move if needed and the drawer handles are very practical and stylish! My problem is I need storage for almost 5,000 books. I love 'em but MAN they take up space!

Thanks. Each drawer holds approx 220 comics with enough room to browse trough them and not be too tight. You will need 6 of these units and you will have a bit of room left for more comics. They take room but i think the space is very well utilized and is easier to go trough your comic books than the long boxes, plus they look nice!. I have close to 6400 comics and my next plan is to build more of these drawers to hold them all there. Right now y have around 20 long boxes in shelves with no extra room, if all goes as planned, my next set of drawers will use the exact same space than where i have my long boxes but i will have room for more drawers than long boxes so i will be able to fit all the comics plus, have some space left for more.
