Comforting Chicken Phyllo Pie Rrecipe

Made by Diane Kochilas for the Fillo Factory. Make with your leftover chicken or deli chicken, bakes up fast to be an easy dinner.

    It totally makes sense to use a square or a rectangle pan for this instead of a pie pan 👍 that is a great tip for the Phyllo dough folding like a book. If you don’t want to use rice and let’s say a chicken pot pie, then don’t put butter on the bottom layer of Phyllo in the pan, or at least not the 2 to 3 layers closest to the filling. But of course make sure the pan is greased.

    I'm really enjoying experimenting with my phyllo dough...quiches, chicken pie...next...desserts! Yum!

    Also, store it in the freezer and take it out to thaw for maybe 40-60 minutes, then place it back in the freezer so it won't go bad! Love te fact they have organic phyllo!

    It’s not dry. All those onions will keep it moist. Plus the cheese will add moisture and flavor as well. The filling cannot be wet as the filo will get mushy and it should be crisp.
