Музыка
In this guitar lesson I'll show you how to play the great first guitar solo from Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. All the details of David Gilmour's genius, his expression, not just the notes!
My online courses: lessons.albertolombardi.com
David Gilmour is a goldmine of Lyricism and emotional playing. When approaching his solos, notes are not enough! All my tutorials try to capture the essence of the touch, details and expression of all those great guitarists that keep influencing us even after all these years. I love to discover why Gilmour Hendrix and all those folks sound so great!

I've watched more than a few video tutorials on this solo and this is the best one I've come across for really learning how to play it with the right technique. Excellent.

I've watched this several time. Really love how he teaches us to get the giomour sound without focus on pedal. By focusing on the intricacies, he helps us all be better players.
Best lesson on youtube for SOLO # 1. Wish you would do one for SOLO # 2 as well. Many Thanks.

Until 4 weeks ago I have not played my electric guitar for over 30 years , I play fingerstyle on nylon strings . I’ve never played an electric guitar solo in my life . I found this video and thought I’d I tryit . OMG , thanks to really great tuition I’ve totally got it ! 1 hour last night and 1 hour tonight and I’ve got , the whole thing . As you can see , I’m blown away and massively inspired . Thank you Alberto . Gonna try the wall next . 😊😊😊

Thanks man, between the tabs my teacher gave me, and another video or two, and listening to the song there was a part ( LICK 5) that just wasn’t clicking for a few days, just didn’t sounds right from listening to the track - I watched your video and picked it up quick as ya like - subbed

Awesome video! I was thinking lately that he was actually doing an up stroke after the rake, but I wasn't sure. Just so you know at 6:58 & 10:31 into the video after saying you bend 3 semi-tones you said, "and you bend it 3 steps," but it should be 3 half steps. That would be some bend if it was 3 steps as I know Gilmour does some 2 step bends...just wanted to let you know that...great video! :)

Excellent choice! Unfortunately, my acoustics don't have whammy bars. " :-( [Ha-Ha-Ha] ," but, . . . I had a music teacher in 4th grade who told us "The wonderful thing about music is that one can play a given piece 1,000 different ways." That concept blew my mind. Case in point, there's a guy on "KZread" called "Carlos Vamos," who does a tapping version of "Little Wing" on acoustic. What a novel concept! Thanks for another "Friday Surprise!!!" Kind regards, ciao & see you Monday! :-D , :-) , :-) , :-) ,

@@albertolombardimusic Not at all. I'm a nut for playing things note-for-note right, as conceived, but if life gives one whammy-less lemons one might try making whammy-less lemonade. :-) .
