Hey fellow NP! Thanks for watching 💚
Thank you! As a RN working in the hospital and in school for FNP, I dig both the day in the life and the patient work up!
Thanks Laurie, as a relatively new NP, I really appreciate your educational video and I thank God for each. Today, I had to assess a patient with “cheek pain” and I quickly ruled out TMJ because this video was fresh in my memory. Thank you- you are an excellent teacher.

Holy cow! How do you get such a nice break room? Your making me want to return to UC! 🤣I loved lacerations... the bigger the better! We did so many ear lavages. The nurses and MAs performed the lavages where I worked.
@fromcnatonp
2 жыл бұрын
The clinic is new so that is why the break room look so nice. Yes, MAs do the ear lavages. Lacerations intimidated me in the beginning now I am way better and not so intimidated with them
you are so funny🙂(and a pro at this healthcare setting situation) so, I was like why would she say the day was going slow "out loud" in the middle of her shift lol. 💜

you are beautiful without makeup!
Girl, I cannot live without my portable heater. I thought I was the only one lol. My sister works at a nursing home & once she FINALLY started bringing a heater to work she was like,”Idk why it’s taken me so long to listen to you. This heater is a life saver!” Lol Side note: what do you use to edit your videos? You’re doing a great job! 💜
@fromcnatonp

The portable heater is a must for me, I was so miserable my first couple days in the clinic. Thanks so much for the video compliment.. I use IMovie but I have a paid canva subscription so I get most of my overlay videos from canva and I make my slides in canva or on my computer through keynote

FYI some facilities require outside equipment like your heater to be inspected to make sure is not fire hazard due to voltage. 😏
Hope you are in good health. I have a question about my plan for studying an online MSN (FNP) program from Cincinnati University. I fear that I might be looked down upon by colleagues or physicians if l got to work with them in hospital later on, or l also might be the last applicant in the list if I am for instance applying for emergency medicine fellowship training. So, do you think sir that could be a hinder to my goal attainment or l should look for another study program where I have to attend in person class.??? Thank you
Hey Lori, What online school would you recommend for someone that is trying to become a FNP?
Where did you get suture training or was it included in your school program?
@fromcnatonp

I actually had a doctor teach me and then I got some more help from another friend I also got a suture kit and practiced
