I don’t like my job as an np so I decided to watch day in the life videos to see if It will make me motivated about my job. I am grateful to God that I have a job that pays bills But I wish I went into the tech industry or engineering Don’t be an np except you’re ok of being trapped

Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

How long does it take to become a np? And is there such a thing as an doctorate degree for np?
@Majesticleolife

2-2.5 years after getting your bachelor’s degree. You can get your doctorate
Hey great video, are you able to list out the resources you have there? I am having trouble seeing the title of resources and authors. Hope to be a UC NP someday.

I worked urgent care as FNP for one year and hated it because of the business managers and it was not anywhere as nice as this. I also got tired of colds and flu and felt I lost my experience esp with reviewing labs and following chronic complex illnesses

@danneyxxx6614

@@InTheSpotlightCurrentTrends I worked in cardiology and internal med before and gained a lot of experience working there but I lived over an hour away and couldn’t do commute anymore. I also moved from Georgia to Texas and in Texas they are very strict where family nurse practitioners can work…ie I can’t work specialty or cardiology or even hospitals. I want to go back to cardiology or become hospitalist so I’m in school currently for post master’s certification in adult gerontology acute care

Great clear, easy viewing video…👍🏼What salary should a NP expect in USA? I know each state is different, but a rough idea would be good to know 🙏🏼 thanks

@@juliet5413 congrats! that’s exactly what I did. I had a few people trying to tell me I should be a bedside nurse longer but I’m glad I didn’t wait. It’s a different role so the bedside experience is helpful but it doesn’t really help your role as a NP unless you worked in ER in my opinion.
