It does amaze me how it’s called an antique shop and it’s mostly vintage and modern. It’s a reminder how young America is as a country. There are antiques but many aren’t in the best condition many were well worn with revival era’s.

It’s true. Many of my local antique stores are mostly vintage with a mix of modern. I’ve been into a few that were strictly antique and the prices are staggering.

@@VintageVariety it’s the lack of pieces, America has an abundance of post WWII jewelry but, struggles with true antiques. I’ve sourced here in Europe since the 80’s ♥️

Hi Pam - the prices on that jewelry are crazy! I think the Chico’s necklace is interesting but the brooch is my favorite. I love the pink depression glass 🌸🌸🌸

Love the Chico’s. I was in your state yesterday and took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Went to an antique store when the train did the layover. Tourist town so everything was high. I didn’t find a thing that I felt was reasonably priced. You always seem to find good deals.
