Like you said, I felt a million times better coming out of surgery that I did hours before I went in. I had a really rough time for MANY years, and I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with any of that ever again! Thank you!! I really wanted to share just in case someone else was going through something similar. If I knew what I know now - years ago, I would have done this so much sooner. Several people have contacted me as a result of my story saying that are now going to talk to their doctors - and that makes me so happy!! I’m so glad that I’m back and tomorrow I have my final appointment with my doctor and hopefully I’ll be released back into the wild. Lol!!!!

First Wecome back, I missed you and am glad you are doing well 🥰. Our styles are a little different but I also love shopping in antique shops. Like you I enjoy the unique items. I pass up a lot of items that I love because I am not also sure how I woul make them work in my home, but you have given me a different way of looking at things I love without feeling that I am becoming a horder. I like figuring out how I can use things differently than what they were intended - and that shop helps me to broaden my imagination. I’m so glad that you enjoyed coming along with me - even though our styles are different. I follow someone who is very into Victorian things (which I am not) yet I follow along with her on her shopping trips all the time. So I get it. I just like to watch people hunt and find treasures I suppose. Thank you so much for watching and we’ll see in the coming weeks how it all comes together! 😆

I love the finds you grabbed at the antique store. I also like to add different textures and materials to my walls especially when I’m making a gallery wall. My living room wall is a great example of that (you can see it in my thumbnail on my channel). My favorite piece from your haul has to be the basket. Something about it just made me love it. Also a piece with a story or that has a conversation tied to it is always a welcome addition.

You’re right - Habitat often has cabinets that could potentially work. We have, however, found something else that I think will be great - and just yesterday we reopened the discussion of building something on that wall. So…..stay tuned! 😅

Hi Joann!! Thank you - it feels good to be back, truly. We did think about getting already made cabinets because we did something similar in our office. They were going to run upwards of $400 just for the cabinets so it started to add up and then I got cold feet. If we were planning on staying in the house forever, I would have totally made the investment. I did end up finding something that I think is going to look great in there - so stay tuned for next week! 😅

I am an interior designer too / took classes at the Community college and had a wonderful experience with my talents 🙏🙌/ if you get to New Orleans I'll show you the different places to shop... Angela your biggest fan 🎉...
