Questo è uno dei primi risultati di Auxologico nei confronti dell'ambiente e della sostenibilità delle sue attività.
Il traguardo è stato realizzato grazie a un'implementazione tecnica nel Laboratorio analisi che permette di usare meno provette per la stessa quantità di esami del sangue. Minor numero di provette, meno plastica prodotta e smaltita.

Auxologico is an integrated network of specialized hospitals, outpatient clinics, and research centers. Every day, our Analysis Laboratory receives thousands of plastic tubes containing blood samples that are necessary for conducting diagnostic tests for our patients.
One section of the laboratory has recently undergone an IT and instrumental reorganization that allowed us to reduce the number of plastic test tubes by about 30%.
This technological automation, initially designed to increase efficiency, had significant positive effects in terms of environmental impact, workplace safety for operators, benefit for the patients, and economic savings.
This project has a high potential for scalability and replicability, and can be easily adopted by similar organizations.
Furthermore, this success story can help create awareness among our internal stakeholders and motivate them to participate in other 'win-win projects' that benefit workers, patients, and the environment.
