Agreed, I love the idea of putting smaller forgings into the basket twist.

Nice work, couldn’t help thinking you sounded a lot like Tony Codfish from the tv show Down East Dickering.

Do you ever forge weld these? Seems like with all the prep work, grinding, and fill welding it might be faster to forge weld. Not trying arm chair quarter back. Just honestly curious if you have done it that way and your thoughts. Thanks.

I forge weld the smaller ones I make. Don't know if you have watched my Basket twist Christmas ornament video or not kzread.info/dash/bejne/en6X3LqlkbaXgqw.html. It really doesn't take that long to mig weld the bigger ones up and clean up. I made a total of five and they went pretty quick.

Awesome video keep up the good work, if you were to have one type of power hammer would you buy the ka75 or the big blue?

I will not buy another blue, the KA is good for detail work and tongs. There are several good pneumatic hammers on the market right now. For good all around use I would research the pneumatics and self contained hammers and choose one to fit your needs.
