The more I see of combat footage, and the older I get, the more I see misery and death. Heroic deeds, courage, bravery, self-sacrifice, teamwork and mateship in adversity yes, but also sadness, death, and destruction. I understand why we will always need and have armed combat, but where once I would see an aeroplane shot down, and think "another plane gone", I now think about the person or people in it. Of course, I am sure my perspectives would change again if I was in a position where I had to fight for my country or my beliefs - and this I would do, when, and if the need arises.

This type of info was always available online. You just had to look for it. The problem today is the big social media companies wanting to censor everything because either the Biden administration is telling them to or they fall for all the threats from a very small population of the country that can't really even carry out those threats but they are just louder with their voices. I have no idea why people wanna live under a brick and pretend like stuff isn't happening around them or why they want to live with the government telling them what they can and can't watch and controlling what they say and can't say. I hope we never get to the time that our speech will get us locked up like some people want.

They barely touch firearms because they don't want to spill anyone's blood.

Huge respect and thanks to Mike and the guys; just a few clarifications. 1. Halal is similar to Jewish Kashrut (Kosher) but the guys are referring to a different word meaning fallen soldier "Chalal" as opposed to "Halal"; the word is literally rooted in "emptyness", probably from ancient times where being pierced by a sword/spear would figuratively leave your body empty of life/blood. 3. The reference to "Arabs" is more of a slang in Israel; Jews, Druze, Christian, and Muslim in Israel can be considered Arab/Arabian (reminding that only about 20% of Jews in Isarel are of European descent); many brave and amazing people that fought off the Hamas hordes in October (and that still are in the fight) were (are) Beduin & Arab (Muslims), Druze, Christian, Circissans, Soldiers, Police Officers, and just brave civilians, all of them are equally Israeli; this is something not discussed enough in the mainstream media, and therefore many people think Israeli = Jewish. 3. These guys are civilians (reserves), this isn't their day to day, or even monthly trained profession, they keep in good shape and sharp, individually, because they are responsible people, which makes their advice even more relevant. It's key to note that the same people that instigated the 7th of October in Israel, would be as happy to do this equally anywhere in the world (and have, and still do), so as long as these people are out there and allowed to thrive on glorifyying death over life, be prepared (medical, survival, defense, and planning-wise) for the possibility.

  • @mrg-rpg

    Ай бұрын

@@jyreklordinthrain7813 I'm just trying to give context that it's not Arab/Jewish, and those are two sides, and that many Jews (actually, the majority in Israel) are also of Meshriqi, Maghrebi, and other Arabic ethnic descent; which goes beyond the more obvious Israeli purely-Arabic minorities. I call it slang, because it's part of the local speak/culture, just like Irish, Italian, and other ethnicities are referred to in positive/negative connotation for certain things in say NY, or NJ, for example. Perhaps I didn't put this down clearly enough by calling it "slang", so thanks for pointing it out.

The first soldiers arrived half an hour into the attack, but they were too few to repel them against thousands of armed terrorists.
