COLT M4A1 SOCOM Edition Property of U.S. Government markings LE6920 M4 AR15

2022 Colt M4A1 SOCOM Rifle. This is the new Colt M4 Clone of the US Military M4A1. The fit and finish is great and the attention to details is amazing. This semi auto chambered in 5.56 NATO is a great shooter. I will be doing some additional upgrades such as adding optic, laser, light, sling etcetera. COLT- the original M4 and the legendary and iconic rifle is here again.

That's a good question, so here goes- minimum barrel length on a rifle is 16" for non NFA. A barrel less than that needs a tax stamp and a Form 4 ( I believe). However, if you have a 14.5" barrel and a pin and welded (permanently attached) muzzle device and the overall length is at least 16", you don't need permission to purchase or use. The Colt Socom meets minimum requirements and is not considered an SBR so you do not need permission to own it. A few thing about NFA items (and there are lots more) you cannot take them across state lines without approval from Government and only the person who filed the form who is listed can legally use an NFA item. Dont just take my advice but actually read up on that for more details because there is more to it than just filling out a form and paying for the tax stamp. Thanks for the question. -Doug
