Diese Achterbahn war die erste die ich je gefahren bin xD ich fand es schrecklich aber ich muss sagen das diese Achterbahn mich sehr gut für die anderen Achterbahnen im Heide Park abgehärtet hat.

I love this Roller Coaster.. The noise and vibrations from a big woodie is just something different from alle the other Roller Coasters.. But it is best back cart.. The feeling of being pulled down than first drop is just insane!! :D

This ride is pure hardcore JOY for coaster enthusiasts! ♥Colossos ! So fast, high, !!AIRTIME!!,smooth and ...its just great.

If you want to know why a replica of the statue of liberty is there, it was in a sea in the park (it was about 30 m tall), then they needed the space for something new and the upper part of the statue got placed next to this coaster as a kind of reminding (sorry if my english isnt that good, im from germany)

Colossos ist die beste Achterbahn der welt! Meine Freundin und ich lieben sie! Wir waren in den 3Tagen die wir da waren mindestens 80mal auf colossos und haben uns sogar pullis und Tassen von colossos gekauft! Colossos ist ein MUSS! Wer da nit drauf geht bereut es sein ganzes Leben! Meine Freundin hat Höhen angst und war trotzdem drauf und sie hat es geliebt! Colossos♡

Chuck Norris ohje und dann heißt du auch noch chuck norris, dir wird gleich der kaugummi rausfallen cowboy, aber fast alle bedeutenden achterbahnen der letzten jahrzehnte (inkl. der ersten loopingachterbahn) die in amerika stehen, wurden von einem deutschen designed und von schweizern gebaut, und alle fahrgeschäfte aufm rummelplatz vom breakdance bis top-spin sind deutsche oder niederländische ingenieurkunst... kingda ka übrigens ebenfalls deutsch/schweizerisch... im übrigen hast du keine ahnung da collosos tatsächlich die größte bzw. zweit größte HOLZachterbahn der welt ist, auch international ;)... nitro ist übrigens ein paar meter kleiner als silver star im europapark =)

Damn I have never seen so many trim breaks on a coaster! What an airtime killer!

Damn that thing looks like a beast!?! Seems like a longer ride than you’d normally expect from an out n back (seemed like it went out came back and actually went back out again in another direction. I love the woodies that twist and wind through their own support structures like a knotted mess (like mean streak) it’s cool seeing the trains rolling along and then all of a sudden they disappear within themselves and then pop out here or there. Makes for a very interesting and disorienting ride plus I think they’re more interesting to look at than a typical out n back. Wish I could make it to Germany and give this thing a ride or a few. I’ll never forgive myself for missing out on son of beast (closed end of June 09 and I went there middle August 09 not knowing it was) I at least got to see that one standing and what a site to behold. Should’ve just went the few extra feet and just made this bad boy a hyper

Kinda sucks that most modern coasters would end at 2:00. Some coasters even retain top speed before they hit the brakes toward the end of the ride, developers really need to squeeze all the juice out of coasters.

no coaster in existence has ever had a top speed just before the final break run. the highest speed on a coaster is almost always the first drop, the only exceptions being terrain/like coasters that allow the coasters to go further down than the first drop.

this woodencoaster is sooooooooo amazing can't wait to ride it again this summer or mayby in this april ^^

SirBrot die Wirtschaften halt nicht gut, daher gehts den auch nicht so gut zur Zeit. Fast alle gehen mit zwei für eins rein, sprich zur Zeit 23€ pro Person. Das ist für so einen großen Park halt tatsächlich einfach zu wenig. Wenn sie klug sind senken Sie den Preis auf einen angemessenen Preis, also unter dem des Europapark (fände ich jedenfalls, das sind andere Welten) und hören auf ständig zwei zu eins zu machen. Wenn jeder Gast 37 Euro bezahlt statt 23, dann wirkt der Gesamteindruck besser (46€ ist halt viel, dass das die wenigstens bezahlen merkt nur der Park) und der Park verdient mehr. Im Jahr 2015 haben die lediglich knapp über eine Million an Gewinn erzielt. Das ist für einen Park dieser Größe einfach viel zu wenig. Flug der Dämonen wäre damit erst in 15(!) Jahren abbezahlt. Krake, Desert Race und die kleineren Geschäfte müssen aber auch noch abbezahlt werden. Jetzt benötigt Colossos auch noch eine Reparatur für viel Geld, wobei fraglich ist ob die 21 Millionen in den letzten 16 Jahren überhaupt schon abbezahlt sind. Und dann will man mindestens alle vier Jahre etwas Neues, großes, bauen. Da gibt dir einfach niemand mehr einen Kredit. Soll heißen: du leidest darunter, dass fast alle nur die Hälfte der Preises zahlen. Für die meißten ist der Parkbesuch nämlich alles andere als teuer. Für 23€ kommst du meines Wissens nach in keinen anderen Park in Deutschland, aber in einen der größten Parks Europas! Da läuft halt eindeutig was falsch, ich hoffe die ändern das bald mal, vorallem weil mit Merlin wirklich ein Besitzer dahinter steht der eigentlich echt gut wirtschaften kann.

Why do people always think that when we post a video from somewhere, we must BE IN THAT PLACE? We've been back from Mexico for over two weeks now. This footage was shot last summer. I have footage for probably 2,000 different videos that I could post from all over the world shot from 1988 - 2013. We're not always in a location at the same time we post a video from there.

Für mein geschmack war der colossos ein wenig zu hart =D bin bei allem mitgefahren, nur bei dem Kraken lebt war uns die Schlange viel zu lang. Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht im Heidepark!!!!

I took a lil' camera on the ride, as i visited the park a few weeks ago. Collossos is that intense- it broke my camera. The G-Forces broke my camera! x'D Great fucked up ride! ♥ btw.: the fog makes it look damn epic!!

It s my homepark and the woodie, which I rode the most times, so yes I know. But I rode Wodan and Joris en de Draak and I like them more. Colossos is great but never the greatest.

Benedikt Garbers Mit allem respekt, ich habe viele Bahnen geritten die sehr aehnlich der Wodan und Joris sind, aber meiner Meinung nach werden diese Low-level, quickturn Bahnen nie mit der Hoehe, geschwindigkeit, und G-Kraft der Colossos vergleichbar sein. Fast jeder Achterbahnhersteller kann layouts wie die von der Wodan und Joris exekutieren, aber nur die besten haben die faehigkeit ein Strecke so perfekt wie die von der Colossos herzustellen. Was die Colossos so perfekt macht ist der Uebergang von den 3G in dem Talen zu den fast -1.5G an den Spitzen.

Das ist einfach. Einen dynamischen und abwechslungsreichen Fahrverlauf zu schaffen hingegen ist schwer. Auch finde ich, dass die Bumps in den Gci viel aggressiver sind als die Camelbacks bei Colossos. Nicht falsch verstehen auch Colossos finde ich geil.

I wish I could go to Heide Park. :(
