This exact thing happens to me with writing, as a creative writer i really struggle with starting my work, the anxiety really gets to me and the fear of making it perfectly just leads me to not even start the piece, but when I get into the swing of things I enjoy it and like the final outcome!

I actually liked the glossy that you made,i think it was very pretty and it looked a lot like gloss!

Wow! This came out so nice! Especially the flowers and the dress. In my view making the sleeves translucent created this implication/illusion that the main part of the dress has the same translucent material over a more solid fabric and it looks amazing!

What I love from watching these one color challenge videos is seeing the artist brain work. Because now we need to rethink and challenge our brains and imagination to get those shades, highlights and midtones with one type of color and it’s really fun.

I really like the light hair finally but I would've love a dark purple colour on the lips though to balance all out. It still looks amazing, incredibly beautiful. I suggest "Luv Ander/Love Ander" as her name, a small pun with "love" because she looks lovely and "lavender" because of the purple

You talking about art anxiety is so familiar, and also very helpful. I'm confined to bed with disabilities and art is one of my few outlets, one of the only hobbies I can usually manage physically and which benefits me mentally. But for the past few years I have lost the confidence to even try to create anything. I really am my harshest critic in all areas of my life, and I have been missing out on even more experiences because of my lack of self belief. The way you speak about your own struggles regarding the stress of starting a piece or project, and the way you say that we mustn't judge ourselves because in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter if we make mistakes as we are supposed to be having fun and enjoying ourselves, has given me the motivation to pick up a pencil for the first time in a long time. As I've been watching your videos I have been drawing alongside you. I was having a very dark day today, but you have brightened it up and put a spark of light on my horizon, just when I needed it. Thank you, Temi 💝

9:57 You're right about that, I get that feeling of oh... I do not know how this is going to turn out and I get somewhat nervous lol because I want it to look cool. I noticed every time I just get started regardless and continue with going for the intended look it turns out nice still. I just try to have faith in my drawing practice, and it just works out. As I just go with the flow of the drawing or the painting, I just gain more confidence or acceptance saying this is going to turn out fine and I like it.
