This is absolutely stunning! Grouping the colors like that for the flowers makes the background beautiful, but still soft enough so that the girl pops! And the chance you took with the lighting really paid off!

Came here from the gouache shorts and now really enjoy watching this coloring series! I love how the hair turn out amd how you name every single lady. Awesome art 💖

I challenge myself all the time (I'm in learning mode) and I'm surprised that my paintings actually come out better than I expected. So, my advice to people who are afraid that something goes wrong, trust the process and everything will look better when you finish 😄

Absolutely love this piece. I’m looking into trying alcohol markers. I’ve never used them as a medium. I’m usually using watercolours, pencils, other paints and a few other mediums. But never alcohol. Watching you has given me so much inspiration ❤❤

@ArtsyGamer The iris is the circle in your eyes which display your eye color. It is not what makes you see the colors. Just wanted to clarify this.

She turned out absolutely gorgeous! I love your coloring book series, it so satisfying and relaxing to watch. For a name, I think the name Iris, it's the name of the Greek goddess of rainbows, and is also a kind of very beautiful purple flower.

her hair is SO GOOD!!! Amazing how you incorporated the other colours in the hair, it really makes for dynamic lighting, and emphasizes there are two different light sources. Even more impressive that this was all marker! Love it, I'm glad you tried the colourful girl too

i don't have as many markers in my set (168), but when i got it, it was also jumbled and i couldn't rest until i organised it in a pretty gradient! my mom thought i was crazy but it looks so nice now. and it didn't come with swatches so i made my own in my sketchbook, but in the order of the colour number, which makes it a pain to find the right marker when i work from the swatches! it probably would have been smarter to organise based on the colour number but it wouldn't look so nice. the finished piece looks so awesome! i wouldn't guess it contains 320 different colours, a lot of them don't look very distinct. the lighting on the face is just beautiful! i would be so scared to try that, especially with markers, but trust the process! it definitely worked out for your piece 😍

I always group my markers in the same order they're placed on the swatch sheet so that they're easier to find.

I know I'm kinda late to the game but AURORA!!! Definitely...Like the Aurora Borealis (coz of all the pretty colours and coz of how you mentioned lighting. I imagine she's standing in a field, and has been photographed under the vivid lighting of the Aurora Borealis 🥺✨) She looks like a nature fairy from a beautiful utopian planet 😍 You're very talented🙌

I have the 216 set of Ohuhu's brush markers and it is so satisfying to organize them. I hope they come out with this set in brush markers one day. Also, I personally don't use the included swatch charts. I make my own on the type of paper I normally use. Sometimes, depending on the material you use, they can look different depending on what paper you put them on. So I make a swatch chart with my own drawing paper so I know exactly what the colors will look like one the paper I'm gonna put them on. I also have it hanging on my wall so I don't have to go digging for it.

I think you should name her Darci because when I saw the finished product and what she looked like it reminded me of that also it’s lovely.Ive got those pens but a smaller set (120 set).The drawings beautiful

Temi I am 11 and you’ve LITERALY HYPNOTISED ME into buying the flower girls colouring book AND MORE!!

When you start doing art with highlights and shades it's annoying sometimes to try to look for the light and dark of several colors. Even when the colors are mostly together, I will arrange it so they fade into the other colors like red to orange, orange to yellow and so on. Then place the browns, greys, and blacks fading from darkest to lightest as best as possible. I found a few, like Crayola's regular water soluble came pretty much like that so I did not have to rearrange, but the scented I kept separated in separate group. I also sort my colors whatever medium I'm using. When I first swotched for my first set of art markers, I didn't color any drawings or coloring books. I actually found that swotching without coloring in something makes your brain have to assemble and guess which yellow or blue will be the right one or too dark in your mind's view. Say what you as an artist think the color of the clouds and water should be in light and shadows. Was fun watching your challenge 🤗❤️👍🏽💯

Forgot to say I am so happy I am early. Well done! I am super impressed. I love the way it turned out. I am not surprised you can make it work, I am surprised it worked even better than I thought. I am not the biggest fan of using big numbers of colours, but I must say that it suites this illustration. I love what you did with this challenge. I would like to see you do more of these once in a while. I am happy it came at the right time for your block, but I love seeing you colour your illustrations as well as other people's illustrations. I would love to see you make a colouring in book that you colour. Thank you for amazing content.

I just stumbled across your channel and I am so impressed by your shading skill! Especially with just using markers. I very much do like plants and did notice at least one flower that was def colored inaccurately, but the way the colors were grouped and were almost gradient across the flowers made it totally worth it.
