Qiugliq is the word blue in Alaskan Yupik it is used to describe the sea during whaling season it’s a beautiful word in a beautiful rare language and I think should be her name. She even has some native Alaskan features like a round face and long shiny hair. Even her tattoos look like lupin and forget-me-not tribal tattoos. Edit: pronounced (Qu/ill/lick) 🐋💙

Great job Temi!! I love how she turned out with the dark background and I was so skeptical when you started with the skin but it works so well in the end... amazing job with the blues!

This video is excellent for showing how blue is such a great color for both descriptive and expressive drawing! It works for dark contrasts and crisp edges, but blue also opens up into a huge range of tints and shades. We think it's great that you included self-critical remarks, for people new to art who feel pressure to get everything right the first time. You really transformed those coloring pages and made them into something unique!

Blue and orange are complementary colors, meaning they’re right across each other on the color wheel. Complementary colors are supposed to intensify each other. They really do look very good next to each other.

Been waiting for the Blue. 33 years old and blue raspberry is my favorite candy flavor...blue skys...pepsi blue, blue water, blue curacao. Blue everywhere!...and black...silver/grey sometimes white....cant go wrong with red... some green is nice...possibly some yellow/gold... orange here and there... splash of brown... maybe a smidgen of pink. And just tiny bit of purple. Thats it though.

Hi! I’m new and this is my first vid so someone might have told u this already but just in case no one has, i have the same problem with the washi tape and tapes I use for gouache. To stop it ripping the page n stuff I stick it to my top for a moment and then when u pull it off, it’s lost a bit of its sticky but not too much. It works best when u stick it to fabric first

The fact that I watched this and where I am right now it’s like a complete thunderstorm and the clouds look blue and not gray made this whole entire video so aesthetically pleasing!
