How do you keep your pencil so sharp?? I have the small metal sharpener from prismacolor but I can’t get it that sharp!!

I have a Jarlink brand sharpener I bought from Amazon and it makes those pencils unbelievably sharp and pointed

I love this background, I hope you don't mind me following the tutorial on this (except I have Polychromos, I can't get Prismacolors where I live)

Many Thanks. No, I do not mind that. I think it's great when my tutorial is imitated and others enjoy it. You can order Prismacolor via Amazon, I'll do that too. Unfortunately, I can not buy these anywhere else in the shop.

I’ve felt that way a lot as well, but then I was reminded that most colorists on KZread have been coloring many, many years...many even having gone to art school. If you enjoy coloring don’t stop, watch & learn from others & you’ll see your own improvement.

Cobalt Turquoise 105 looks nothing like the blue that you are using. There is a lot more green in it, disappointing, your colour looks a lot more like Copenhagen blue 906. I have started with the colours you picked and they look nothing like yours too green 🥴

thought the same. only my cobalt blue looks different, though. great thing is, you can use whichever color you like
