Mine is about 15". But it doesn't need to be that deep. It just needs to be under the surface of the water. Thanks for watching!
Great videos.... I'll be adding a fish finder and variable speed motor to mine this year. I got my son a pontoon boat for Christmas this year.... any tips or info on how to haul two boats without disassembling them every time we go? Not sure how to get them both on a trailer that isn't 20 feet long.

Yep my son has one as well and when we went, we took the pontoons off and crammed both of them into the back of my truck with a camper shell. Pretty tight fit and a total pain. There is something wrong to me about getting a trailer for something I bought with the benefit of not needing a trailer! I'm planning on experimenting and doing a video on different ways of transporting... But probably not till spring
I’m interested to see how you rigged up the power cable to the phone charger. I know what battery case you’re referencing to. Would it be possible to wire the fish finder to the battery case without the phone charger? While still using the speed controller and the trolling motor? I’m Mediocre at electrical but can manage something like this

Get one that's 4' in RADIUS. that way you can use it in your home state.
